Copycat Chipotle Steak is a simple recipe that is full of flavor and is easy to make. Skip the restaurant and make your favorite steak bites at home.

Chipotle Steak (Copycat)

flank steak

chipotle peppers sauce

Tablespoon Minced Garlic

vegetable oil

lime juice

cumin

oregano

black pepper

salt

In a blender, combine the chipotle peppers, adobo sauce, garlic, oil, lime juice, cumin, oregano, pepper, and salt. Blend until smooth to create the marinade.

Place the steak in a large zip-top bag and pour in the marinade. Seal the bag and turn to coat evenly. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or up to 12 hours.

Remove the steak from refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking to allow it to come to room temperature.

Preheat the grill to high heat. Remove steak from marinade, discarding excess marinade.

Grill steak for 5-6 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

Let rest for 10 minutes, then slice and chop against the grain into small bite size pieces.

Serve over rice, tortillas or on a salad. Enjoy!
