Easy to make chocolate pizza has a chocolate cookie crust topped with creamy and delicious chocolate topping and lots of berries. The perfect chocolate treat for any occasion!

Double Chocolate Cookie Crust Pizza

teff flour

g white rice flour

g tapioca flour

g hazelnuts

g cacao powder

coconut sugar

baking powder

g coconut cream (the thickened coconut cream from a can of full-fat coconut milk)

coconut oil

g ground chia seeds (mix with 5 tablespoons of water)

dark chocolate (85% cacao)

agave syrup

blueberries

blackberries

red currants

Preheat oven to 180 °C. Line a baking sheet with non-stick baking paper.

Mix 10 g ground chia seeds with 50 ml of water. Stir and let it rest for a couple of minutes to thicken.

Melt coconut cream in a medium pot over low heat. Stir until smooth. Let it cool down a bit.

Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl: teff flour, white rice flour, tapioca, ground roasted hazelnuts, raw cacao powder, coconut sugar, roughly chopped roasted hazelnuts, and baking powder.

Add 1-2 tablespoons coconut oil (melted), melted coconut cream, and chia seed mixture to the bowl with dry ingredients. Use a hand mixer and mix briefly until it all comes together. Adjust sweetness if needed.

Flatten the dough onto a baking sheet (approx. 20 cm in diameter) and bake for 18-20 minutes. 

Once the crust is done, let it cool down completely. The crust will continue to firm up while cooling.

Using a tablespoon, spread the chocolate sauce (see below) over the crust and top with berries.

Melt dark chocolate (85% cacao) over low heat in a medium pot. Stir until smooth. Let it cool down a bit.

Add coconut cream (see Note on coconut cream below), melted chocolate, and agave syrup to the blender and blend for 10-15 seconds until smooth (don&#039;t overdo it or the sauce will be too thin and/or runny).

All ingredients are calculated to make two 8-inch (20cm) pizzas. So remember to split all of the toppings in half for both pizzas. I recommend preparing one pizza at a time. When the first one is in the oven, prepare the second.Also, the baking time depends on which dough you choose, how thick it is, and what equipment you use. If you use and follow my yeast pizza dough recipe, bake for 5-7 minutes when using a pizza steel and for 8-12 minutes when using a baking sheet. If you use storebought pizza dough, follow the directions on the package.

Preheat the oven and a baking sheet to 475°F / 250°C for 20-30 minutes. If you are baking with a pizza steel, preheat for 45-60 minutes.

If you have a pizza peel, sprinkle it generously with semolina and set it aside. Otherwise, sprinkle a piece of parchment paper with semolina and set aside.

Prepare the dough, divide it in half, and shape it to your preference. Then transfer to the pizza peel or parchment paper.

Preparation

Combine the brown sugar and cinnamon and set aside. Then brush the melted butter on the dough and sprinkle the sugar mixture evenly over it. Bake until the crust is baked through. Spread the Nutella evenly on the hot crust and top with other toppings as desired.

Nutella Pizza

Sprinkle the almond slices evenly on the dough and drizzle with the honey. Then bake until the crust is baked through. Top the hot crust with dollops of goat cheese, fresh figs, and additional honey as you like.

Honey Pizza

Combine the cream cheese, sugar, mashed strawberries, and vanilla. Then, spread half of the mixture on top of the dough and bake until baked through. Spread the remaining cream cheese mixture on top of the hot crust and add the fresh strawberries.

Strawberry Pizza

Place the chocolate along the edges of the prepared and shaped dough, then fold the edges of the dough over the chocolate and seal with your fingers that the chocolate is completely enclosed. Bake and then top with your favorite toppings like chocolate spread and berries.

When you remove the cookie from the oven, the chips won't look melted: use a knife to spread them and they will melt easily.
