Bring some holiday spirit to your snacks with funfetti popcorn Christmas style! It can be whipped up in only 10 minutes and decorated with as many sprinkles as you like. This popcorn treat is perfect for holiday gifts and parties.

Christmas Crunch {White Chocolate Popcorn}

(104 grams) popcorn kernels*

(12 oz) bag Vanilla Candy Melts ((such as Wilton Candy Melts))

(75 grams) broken pretzel pieces or baby pretzels

Christmas sprinkles

Pop popcorn in a popcorn popper into a large bowl (or alternately in the microwave if using microwave bags of popcorn) according to manufactures directions.  Remove any unpopped popcorn kernels.  Toss in broken pretzel pieces and M&amp;Ms***.

Melt Vanilla Candy Melts in a microwave safe bowl on 50% power in 30 second intervals, stirring after each interval until melted and smooth.  Drizzle half of melted chips over popcorn mixture, then stir, tossing gently a few times with a rubber spatula.

Then drizzle remaining half of melted chips over popcorn, and gently stir mixture until evenly coated (don't over stir though or your sprinkles wont stick if the white chips begin to set and harden).

Pour mixture into a single layer onto wax paper. Sprinkle entire mixture evenly with sprinkles (as many as you'd like) before vanilla chips set. Allow to cool and harden, then gently break into pieces and store in an airtight container.

This Christmas white chocolate popcorn&nbsp;recipe is quick and very simple. The perfect sweet holiday treat! You only need 3 ingredients.

Super Easy Christmas Popcorn

Red and green sprinkles (to taste)

Pop your popcorn according to package directions. Add it to a large baking sheet that's been lined with wax paper. Discard any unpopped kernels. 

Melt your white chocolate in a medium bowl in 30-second increments in the microwave (stir in between). I err on the side of microwaving less and letting it sit a bit longer between intervals so I don't scorch it. 

Pour the white chocolate over the popcorn and toss it with the chocolate until it's fully coated. You can use your hands or even salad tongs for this step. 

Spread the popcorn out in an even layer and add the sprinkles. 

Let the chocolate set. I like to speed this process up by putting the baking sheet in the fridge for 15 minutes or so. 

Keep in a sealed container or portion the popcorn up (e.g. in small bags). It'll last for a few days without going stale.

Great as a snacky dessert option, for gifting and store-like candy. Stays crispy 2 - 3 weeks!Baking soda makes the caramel coating foamy so it coats the popcorn thinly and evenly, rather than in sticky globs. CARAMEL COVERAGE: Use 1/3 cup kernels for full caramel coverage (very sweet, like candy pieces, pictured in post), 3/4 cup for a lighter coating (still sweet enough but you get some white patches, see this photo for comparison)

Christmas Popcorn Candy

vegetable oil ((not required if air popping with a popcorn maker))

popping corn ((10 cups popcorn, Note 1

almonds

/ 7 tbsp butter (, unsalted)

brown sugar (, packed)

(170 grams) corn syrup

tsp salt

tsp vanilla extract

tsp baking soda

cinnamon powder

ginger powder

allspice powder ((or more cinnamon))

tsp ground cloves ((or more cinnamon))

Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add a few pieces of popcorn and wait until it pops, then quickly remove.

Add remaining popcorn, elevate off stove to shake and spread corn out evenly. Cover with a lid. Once the popcorn starts popping in earnest, shake the pot gently once.

Remove from heat when the popping almost stops (when you can count to 3 between pops) and transfer to a (very!) large bowl. You need 10 cups of popcorn.

Popcorn

Preheat oven to 110°C/230°F.

Melt butter in a saucepaan over medium heat.

Add sugar, corn syrup (or glucose) and salt. Stir until just combined.

When it starts to bubble, simmer for 4 minutes - DO NOT STIR!

Remove from heat then quickly whisk in Christmas Spices, vanilla and baking soda. Whisk vigorously for 10 seconds, then when you stop whisking, the caramel will foam and increase in volume.

Quickly pour straight over popcorn, toss to coat.

Sprinkle over the almonds, and toss again until caramel cools and starts to harden.

Caramel:

Spread popcorn across 2 baking trays.

Bake for 45 minutes, tossing every 10 minutes or so. Caramel will remelt for the first 2-3 tosses - tossing further coats popcorn more evenly with caramel. (If using glucose instead of corn syrup, bake further 15 minutes).

Remove from oven, leave to cool. Gently break into pieces then transfer to airtight container for storage. Stays crisp 2 - 3 weeks!

Baking to crisp:

Christmas Cake Popcorn

kettle corn1 (room temperature)

white cake mix powder

white chocolate (melted)

sprinkles

In a very large bowl, stir popcorn and cake mix together.

Microwave the chocolate on 30 second intervals in a microwave safe bowl until melted and smooth, stirring between each one.

Then, stir the melted chocolate into the popcorn bowl, reserving a little for the topping.

Add in sprinkles and chocolate candies and stir until well mixed, spread popcorn out on a large pan that’s been lined with parchment paper or wax paper.3

Drizzle remaining melted white chocolate over the popcorn and top with extra holiday sprinkles.

Let sit for 30 to 45 minutes, then package up in airtight containers or consume immediately.
