½ cup old fashioned oats

maple syrup

chopped apple

cinnamon

1. Mix all the ingredients in a jar. Stir to combine and cover.

2. Place in the fridge overnight.

3. The next morning, remove and eat in the jar or place in a pot over medium high heat to reheat the oatmeal, or in the microwave to reheat if a microwave safe jar for about 45 seconds. Top with fresh apples and more Cinnamon if desired.

Banana Cinnamon Overnight Oats (Vegan)

bananas

almond milk (or other plant milk)

chia seeds

vanilla extract

Mash bananas.

In a large mixing bowl, use a fork to mash the bananas until a creamy mixture forms. Some banana lumps are okay.

Add remaining ingredients.

Add the oats, almond milk, chia seeds, cinnamon, and vanilla extract to the bowl with the mashed banana.

Stir until combined.

Stir thoroughly until all ingredients are completely combined.

Cover and chill.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and place in the fridge to chill for 4 hours, or overnight.

Transfer oats to jars.

Once chilled, stir the oats again and transfer the mixture to small, individual serving jars.

Add toppings and serve.

Add desired toppings such as banana slices, cinnamon, peanut butter, nuts, or raisins. Serve and enjoy!
