an easy &amp; natural recipe for homemade starbucks salted cream cold foam cold brew with only 4 ingredients! cold brew coffee, lightly sweetened with maple syrup, topped with a creamy salty-sweet cold foam, this salted cream cold foam cold brew coffee is the perfect salty-sweet coffee drink!

Make the salted cream cold foam: Add the skim milk, Kosher salt, and ½ tablespoon of the maple syrup to a milk frother. Using the frother’s cold froth setting, froth the salted cream until thick and creamy. I do 2 cycles of cold frothing using my Nespresso frother, about 2 minutes. If you do not have a frother, you can also add everything into a jar and shake it until it gets whipped &amp; frothy.

Make the salted cream cold foam cold brew coffee

Add the cold brew to a glass, over ice. Stir in the remaining ½ tablespoon maple syrup. If you like a sweeter cold brew coffee, go ahead and add in a little extra maple syrup. If you like unsweetened cold brew coffee, feel free to leave it out. Pour or spoon the salted cream cold foam over top. Enjoy!

This is the first recipe from Jess that I ever found and what brought me into the PWWB world, and I'm so glad! The perfect touch of saltiness and sweetness without going overboard, and good points/research on type of milk - I usually use half and half but her note about skim milk frothing better was key!

I've been craving this Starbucks order for three weeks now (due to shelter-in-place)!! This is THE recipe. Others I've tried call for caramel syrup in the foam and it doesn't give it the same flavor. All I have is half and half and 2% milk, so I'm excited to see how frothy it can be when I try with skim. Perfect balance of sweet and salty. I love having this recipe now, because certain days I like it sweeter than others :)

The &quot;Dalgona&quot; Whipped Coffee that&#039;s taking over the internet + Whipped Matcha!

Dalgona Coffee + Whipped Matcha

instant coffee

sugar* (white granulated or coconut sugar)

hot water (boiling hot water)

Using a large mixing bowl, combine the instant coffee, sugar and hot water. You can either whisk everything together by hand, or use an electric hand mixer. Whisk until all of the ingredients are combined and continue whisking until it develops into a creamy, glossy caramel color and can form soft peaks. If whipping by hand with a whisk, this could take a good 5 to 8 minutes depending on how fast you are whipping.

This recipe makes one coffee drink. Place some ice cubes into your desired glass. Pour in your milk of choice and top with the whipped coffee. Feel free to sprinkle on some cocoa powder if desired, stir together and enjoy!

For the Dalgona Coffee

Make simple syrup: Bring the sugar and the water to a boil over medium to medium-low heat. Stir until all of the sugar is fully dissolved. Lower the heat to low and let sit there for a minute or two, and then turn off the heat.

Using an electric hand mixer (you can whisk by hand but will have to do so pretty vigorously if you do this by hand with a whisk), beat the egg whites until they get frothy. With the electric hand mixer still going, slowly pour in the simple syrup and keep whipping until the eggs start to turn white and form soft peaks.

Add in the matcha powder and continue to whip on high until all of the matcha is combined (I also used a rubber spatula to scrape the sides of the bowl to incorporate everything) and everything is smooth and creamy. Be careful not to over whip or everything will get runny.

Place some ice cubes into your desired glass. Pour in your milk of choice (I love oat milk with this) and top with the whipped matcha. Feel free to sprinkle on some matcha powder if desired, stir together and enjoy! I think this was enough whipped matcha for two drinks.
