Mix a jug of this classic cocktail for a summer party. It's made with equal parts of vodka, gin, tequila, rum and triple sec, plus lime, cola and plenty of ice

Long Island iced tea

Pour the vodka, gin, tequila, rum and triple sec into a large (1.5l) jug, and add lime juice to taste. Half fill the jug with ice, then stir until the outside feels cold.

Add the cola then stir to combine. Drop in the lime wedges.

Fill 4 tall glasses with more ice cubes and pour in the iced tea.

Add all ingredients into a highball glass with ice and top up with coke. Stir gently. Garnish with a lemon slice and serve.

Thermomix recipe: Fermented Cola

star anise pod, slightly crushed

Cups Apple Cider Vinegar

250 Grams dark brown sugar

cinnamon bark oil

Drop doTERRA Oils lavender

Teaspoon vanilla extract

Teaspoon citric acid

Teaspoon dried active yeast

Sparkling mineral water to dilute as needed

Squeeze the citrus fruit, cut the rinds into small pieces and place juice and rinds into a large jar with a lid.

Add grated ginger, rosemary sprig (whole), star anise, grated nutmeg and the kaffir lime leaves. Pour the vinegar over all of this and muddle with a spatula handle or wooden spoon.

Heat the brown sugar in a frying pan over a medium heat until it has darkened and smells a little smoky. You need to work quickly at this point, scrape the molten sugar onto a silpat baking mat and allow to cool until brittle. Break into pieces and transfer to the Thermomix bowl. Mill *4 sec/speed 8*.

Tip the milled sugar on top of the fruit and vinegar mixture and stir vigorously. Leave this at room temperature for 2-3 days, stirring occasionally.

Strain the fruit and all other solids out, and return the liquid to a size appropriate glass bottle. Add the oils, vanilla, citric acid and yeast. Stir with a spatula and then seal the bottle. Again leave it at room temperature for around 2-3 days. Shake the bottle occasionally just to make sure the yeast has dissolved, but be careful, bubbles will start to form from this point.

When you open the lid and get that nice fizz sound, it is ready to keep refrigerated. It is quite strong, so serve diluted with ice, lime slices and plenty of San Pellegrino. YUM!

Add the cherries, sugar and water to a medium pot on the stove over medium high heat and bring to a boil.

Add the jello powder to a large bowl or serving dish.

Pour the boiling cherry mixture over the jello powder in the bowl or dish, stir to combine until all of the jello powder is dissolved.

Allow to cool on the counter for 15-20 minutes.

Add the coca-cola and pineapple and stir until everything is combined.

Place in the refrigerator to set for 6-8 hours.

Turn boring chicken breasts into a sweet and tangy dish with less than 5 minutes of prep. Easy slow cooker chicken recipe is full of delicious barbecue flavor.

Slow Cooker Coca Cola Chicken

chicken breasts (boneless and skinless (fresh or frozen))

black pepper

onion flakes (minced)

garlic salt

barbecue sauce (divided)

Coca-Cola (divided)

Spread the chicken breasts in the bottom of a 6-quart crockpot.

Sprinkle the pepper, minced onion flakes, and garlic salt over the chicken. Pour ½ cup of the barbecue sauce over the chicken.

Pour 1 cup Coca-Cola into the slow cooker.

Cover and set on a high setting for 4 hours or low for 6 to 7 hours.

After the chicken has cooked for about 3 hours on high (or 5 hours on low), drain all liquid from the slow cooker, leaving the chicken in the pot. Add the remaining ½ cup of Coca-Cola and the remaining 1 cup of barbecue sauce to the slow cooker. Continue cooking for the remaining hour.

Serve whole with sauce spooned over the top or shred chicken and mix with excess sauce.

Sweet Baby Ray’s Barbecue Sauce {1 bottle }

Cut Rib rack in half

Sprinkle ribs with Salt and Pepper, then place in Crockpot.

Combine BBQ Sauce and Coke in bowl, mix well, reserve 1/2 cup, then pour remainder of sauce over ribs in Crockpot.

Cover Crockpot with lid and cook on HIGH for 4 hours, or LOW for 8 hours, or until done.

When ribs are done, remove from Crockpot and brush on remaining 1/2 cup of sauce before serving. ENJOY!!

Optional: spoon sauce from Crock Pot over ribs 1-2 times while cooking to keep extra moist.

Pour 1.5 cups {or one 12 oz. can} of Coca-Cola into an empty ice cube tray or shallow freezer-friendly dish and place in the freezer for a minimum of 4 hours – must be completely frozen.

Once Coke in the ice cube tray or dish has frozen, transfer frozen Coke to your blender.
