These Christmas Cool Whip Cookies are so easy to make, only a few ingredients and the perfect Christmas cookie. Made with a cake mix and super versatile!

Christmas Cool Whip Cookies

white cake mix

powdered sugar (may need more or less)

cool whip

vanilla extract

Red and Green food coloring

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a small bowl add powdered sugar and set aside for later.

In a bowl, combine, cake mix, cool whip, egg and vanilla. The dough will be sticky. Separate dough in half and put in separate bowls. Add food coloring until it is the desired color.

Use a small cookie scoop or spoon to make balls of dough and roll in powdered sugar. Place on baking sheet, keeping cookies 2 inches apart, they will spread.

Cook for 12-15 minutes until cookies are set, they will still be soft in the center. Let cool for about 4-5 minutes remove from baking sheet and put on plate or wire rack.

Cool Whip cookies are the perfect treat for those who like their desserts on the lighter side. Made with only three ingredients - Cool Whip, powdered sugar, and graham crackers - these cookies come together in a snap.

box Devil’s Food cake mix

8 oz container cool whip (thawed)

baking powder

sugar

Preheat oven to 350°F/175°C

In a large bowl, stir together the devil’s food cake mix, cool whip, egg and the baking powder.

Pour the powdered sugar in a different bowl, and drop the cookie dough spoon by spoon into the sugar. The idea is making small balls covered with powdered sugar. 

Place the balls in a cookie sheet, and bake for 12 minutes. Let cool completely before serving.
