Made it for dinner tonight. I added shrimp with the crab and green onion instead of parsley. It was delicious!

I used canned crab and it turned out great! I did a little less than a tablespoon of old bay because I read the comments beforehand, and it was perfect! If anything, I would add more milk to make it less dry, but this was very easy and definitely making it again!

I made this tonight simply delicious!!! I did a few things differently though... I lived in the south so I LOVE ole bay seasoning..I added a touch more....I also used clam stock instead of chicken stock... so my sauce came out a little browned. But the TASTE.....mmmmmm so good

I was hesitant to make this because the lump crab meat I found was really pricey. I finally tried it with canned Bumblebee white crab meat and it was delicious AND inexpensive! Thank you!!

This turned out soooo good!!! It was a big hit with my family. I added shrimp and changed the noodles but it worked and they loved it!!! I will definately be making this again.

This was spectacular! I only had half a pound of crab and that was a perfect amount for me in the sauce personally. I made the pasta from scratch too which took it up a notch. I used seafood stock because that’s what I had on hand. I eyeballed the old bay but I think I probably put about a tablespoon and it was a good amount of seasoning for me. I only had about a cup of Parmesan and it was also a good amount, I didn’t feel as though the extra half cup was missing. I also didn’t have parsley, but I topped with fresh chives when I added the lemon and it was just divine. Definitely a heavy dish but it’s going into my guilty pleasure recipe bookmarks!

I made this tonight and didn’t like it at all.  There was way too much crab in it for my family’s liking as well as mine.  The sauce was good though before adding the crabmeat...next time I will go with shrimp or chicken.

We always use our leftover crab from Christmas Eve to make crab alfredo, this is the best & most loved recipe of all time!

Fun to make, great texture. Next time would use 1-2 tsp old bay rather than 1 tbsp. Too much seasoning. Will try again!

i felt like the old bay overpowered the whole thing, and i only used 1cup instead of 1 1/2 cup of parm and even with that it tasted waaay too cheesy.

i don't know WHAT it ended up tasting like but def wasnt anything close to a red lobster style seafood alfredo. which was disappointing because every other delish recipe ive tried has been amazing!

linguine

olive oil

unsalted butter

eschalots, finely chopped

garlic cloves, finely chopped

red chillies, finely chopped

spanner crab meat

loosely packed flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped

tsp chilli flakes

This crab pasta with a simple lemon butter sauce is one of the quickest and tastiest recipes you can whip up with minimal ingredients and loads of flavour!

Easy Crab Linguine

lbs linguine, spaghetti

garlic

dry white wine

lemon, juice only

crab meat

Parmesan cheese

parsley

salt and pepper

Cook the linguine in a large pot of salted, boiling water according to package instructions.

Five minutes before the pasta is ready, set a large pan over low heat and melt the butter, add sliced garlic and sauté for 1 minute over very low heat without colouring it, then pour in white wine and lemon juice, turn the heat up to medium and let it reduce for a couple of minutes.

Stir in the cooked crabmeat and take it off the heat. Drain the pasta once cooked and reserve ½ cup of pasta water. Add the pasta to the pan with the crabmeat and toss to combine, add half of the reserved of pasta water and Parmesan cheese, stir over low heat until the cheese melts and coats the pasta. If the pasta is a bit dry add a splash of pasta water. Your pasta dish should be loose but not swimming in sauce, just lightly coated. Salt to taste. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
