A little bit of ranch dressing and some bacon and you’ve a dip recipe that is perfect for a crowd or even if you’re just hanging out at home with the fam!

Crack Dip

cream cheese (softened)

sour cream

mayonnaise

ranch dressing mix

garlic powder

cheddar cheese (shredded)

bacon bits (or 6 slices cooked and crumbled)

green onions (sliced)

Mix cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise ranch  mix and garlic powder with a mixer on medium speed.

Fold in remaining ingredients.

Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.

oz packet ranch dressing mix

oz bacon bits (in the packet not the plastic jar)

c. cheddar cheese

Only using 5 ingredients, this dip comes together in no time and is just what the title says....the life of the party!

Life of the Party Dip

green onion, chopped

cheddar cheese, shredded

bacon bits

almonds

In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, green onions, bacon bits, and almonds.

Stir until combined.

Place bowl in refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours.

Serve with crackers of choice. (I use Ritz)

This creamy, cheesy dip, loaded with crispy bacon crumbles, got its name, thanks to its addictive flavors.  Served either hot or cold, crack dip (aka million dollar dip) is sure to please!

Crack Dip (Cheesy Bacon Dip)

oz cream cheese (full fat)

sour cream (full fat)

mayonnaise (Hellman's, Dukes, or Best Foods)

½ pkg ranch dressing mix (more or less to taste)

½ tsp smoked paprika (or sweet paprika)

½ tsp table salt

¼ tsp black pepper

bacon (cooked crispy and crumbled)

ea green onions (chopped (or chives))

Add the cream cheese, sour cream., mayonnaise, half of the ranch dressing mix,  garlic powder, sea salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper,  and  ½ of the chopped green onions to a large bowl, and using an electric hand mixer,  mix on medium speed until well blended.

Add the crumbled bacon and cheddar cheese to the mixture and stir to combine.

If serving cold, refrigerate the dip for at least one hour before serving.

To serve hot, follow the directions for the cold dip. Then, add the mixture to a baking dish.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Place the baking dish on the center rack of a preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes until bubbly.

Remove from the oven, then add a layer of shredded cheddar cheese on top and return to the oven to bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the cheese is fully melted.

Garnish with additional bacon crumbles and green onions (or chives). Serve with veggies, crackers, tortilla chips, or your favorite dippers.

After freezing, does this work well to thaw and serve cold, or does it need to be warmed?
