Easy Homemade Bread Pudding Recipe Topped with an Orange Glaze, and is the Perfect Holiday Dessert! It Comes Together Quickly and is a Crowd Pleaser!

Cranberry Orange Bread Pudding

milk

eggs

tsp vanilla extract

Tbsp orange zest

Tbsp orange juice

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 13x9 baking dish.&nbsp;

Spread half of the bread in an even layer on the bottom of the baking dish. Sprinkle cranberries over the top. Place the remaining bread on top.&nbsp;

In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, cloves, allspice, sugar, and orange zest until well combined.&nbsp;

Pour the egg mixture over the bread, making sure all of the bread is covered.

Allow the bread pudding to sit for 25 minutes.&nbsp;

Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center jiggles only slightly when moved.&nbsp;

Allow to cool at least 10 minutes before serving. (The bread pudding might deflate a bit while cooling; this is normal.)&nbsp;

While the cranberry orange bread pudding is cooling off, mix together melted butter, powdered sugar (starting with 1 cup), vanilla extract, orange juice, and orange zest. If the glaze seems too thin, add in the last 1/2 cup of powdered sugar.

Drizzle over each slice of bread pudding.&nbsp;

This cranberry bread pudding is rich, creamy and delicious, and studded with fresh tart cranberries. When eaten freshly baked and warm, this gorgeous dessert fills you up immensely. Perfect for enjoying with family and friends during Thanksgiving, Christmas or anytime during the festive holiday season. Also gluten-free and dairy-free, but nobody will know!

Cranberry Bread Pudding (Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free)

gluten-free bread cubes (crust removed, stale and cubed)

almond milk

coconut oil, melted

vanilla extract

Grease

Layer Bread Cubes and Cranberries

Place half of the bread cubes in a single layer, topped by half the cranberries, repeating with the remaining bread cubes and cranberries.

Prepare Liquid Mixture

In a bowl, beat the eggs with almond milk, coconut oil, sugar and vanilla extract until combined.

Soak

Pour liquid mixture over the bread cubes and cranberries in the casserole dish, and let sit for at least 30 minutes to allow bread to absorb the mixture.

Preheat

While the bread is almost done soaking up the liquids, preheat oven to 375F (190C) and adjust the rack to the middle position.

Bake

Bake for 65 to 75 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean (if top is getting too browned, place a piece of aluminium foil on top) for the last 20 minutes.
