Our Sweet and Spicy Cranberry Jalapeno Cream Cheese Dip, is an easy and addictive party snack for the holidays! It&#x27;s rich and creamy with a pop of berry flavor!

Perky Cranberry Jalapeno Cream Cheese Dip Recipe

cranberries ((or frozen))

pomegranate juice

sugar

cream cheese, (softened)

scallions

pickled jalapenos, (chopped (mild or hot))

lemon

garlic powder

salt and pepper

crackers for scooping ((could be gluten-free!))

Set a small saucepot over medium heat. Pour in the cranberries, pomegranate juice, and sugar. Add 1/2 teaspoon salt and stir well. Bring to a boil. Then lower the heat and simmer for 8-10 minutes, until thick.

Meanwhile, set out a medium mixing bowl. Add the softened cream cheese, chopped scallions, 3 tablespoons of chopped jalapeno, lemon zest, garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Smash and mix well.

Taste the cream cheese dip. Add more chopped jalapeno if desired, as well as salt and pepper.

Remove the cranberry sauce from the heat. Let it cool and thicken.

Place the cream cheese dip in a serving bowl and arrange crackers around the bowl. Once the cranberry topping is cool, pour it over the cream cheese dip. (The cranberry sauce can still be warm to the touch when you pour it over the cream cheese dip. Just not hot!)

Sprinkle extra scallions over the top if desired. Serve at room temperature.

Cranberry Jalapeno Dip

cranberries

jalapenos (minced)

green onions (sliced thin)

cilantro (chopped small)

sugar ((add up to ¼ cup more sugar

salt

cream cheese

lime juice (about 1 large lime)

Pour the cranberries into a food processor or food chopper. Pulse once or twice to give them a rough chop. The goal is to rough chop the cranberries but not puree them.

Mix together the chopped cranberries with the jalapenos, scallions, cilantro, sugar, lime juice, and salt. Once thoroughly mixed refrigerate for at least one hour. Overnight is preferred.

When it is time to serve, remove the cranberry mixture from the refrigerator and pour it through a fine mesh strainer (I use this one.) Allow the liquid to drain from the cranberry mixture.

While the mixture is being strained, whip the cream cheese to make it spreadable. Spread the cream cheese onto a large rimmed plate or shallow serving dish. Spoon the cranberries overtop the cream cheese. Serve with crackers or pretzel crisps.

This unique dip combines the bright, tart flavor of cranberries with the kick of spicy jalapeno. The result is a delightfully balanced spread that will have your taste buds dancing. Serve it up at your next gathering and watch it disappear!

(8-ounce blocks) cream cheese (room temp)

Place the cranberries, jalapeno pieces, cilantro, and green onion into a food processor.

Pulse for a few seconds, then scrape the sides and pulse again.

Add the sugar, lime juice and salt and pulse for 2 to 3 more seconds.

Refrigerate for 10 to 20 minutes.  You can drain the mixture or just use a slotted spoon when using the cranberries.

Beat the cream cheese for a few minutes with a hand mixer until nice and fluffy.

Spread the cream cheese on a plate,  spoon the cranberry dip over the cream cheese.

Serve with crackers or chips.

green onions (chopped)

jalapeno

lime (juiced)

oz cream cheese (softened to room temperature)

milk

Add cranberries to a food processor and pulse a few times, or until roughly chopped. Transfer to a mixing bowl.

Stir in the maple syrup, green onions, jalapeno, lime juice, and salt until well combined. Set aside until ready to serve.

Add the softened cream cheese and milk to a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment and whisk on medium speed for 2-3 minutes, until smooth.

Transfer the whipped cream cheese to a serving dish, the top with the cranberry mixture. Serve with crackers or cinnamon pita chips!
