This spinach pizza ring (also known as Pizza Corona) with mushrooms and vegan cheese is a great party food which will impress your guests. The recipe is vegan, gluten-free and easy to make.

Vegan Spinach Pizza Crescent Ring

Pizza dough ((see recipe instructions))

onion powder

oregano

garlic powder

Salt and pepper (to taste)

spinach (fresh)

onion (chopped)

garlic

mushrooms (sliced)

tbsp oil

soy sauce ((or coconut aminos))

Make the pizza dough as described in this recipe or use your own favorite dough.

Chop onion, garlic, mushrooms and heat oil in a skillet. Fry the veggies together with soy sauce over low-medium heat for about 5-6 minutes. Add spinach, all spices, and turn off the heat after 45-60 seconds.

Meanwhile, make one batch of my vegan cheese sauce and add it to the skillet (skip this step if you use store-bought cheese).

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).

Roll out the dough into a circle (10-11" in diameter) and cut into it with a knife (see instruction photos above in the blog post).

Spread the filling onto the dough.

Now from the middle of the dough, take the triangle slits of dough and pull them over your toppings and push down onto the edge (see instruction photos above in the blog post).

Brush your pizza ring with some oil or vegan egg-wash.

Bake in the oven until golden brown, approximately 20 minutes (depends on how thin you rolled out your dough and which kind of dough you used). Enjoy!

Extemely popular at Christmastime, Vanilla Crescent Cookies are loaded with vanilla flavour!  These melt-in-your-mouth cookies are made with lots of heart-healthy ground nuts and vanilla sugar!

Vanilla Crescent Cookies

salted butter, (softened)

vanilla sugar ((or one tablespoon of vanilla extract))

nuts, (see notes)

all-purpose flour

confectioner's sugar

In a mixing bowl, use a hand-held mixer to beat together the butter, egg yolks, and vanilla sugar until just mixed.  (If using vanilla extract instead of the vanilla sugar, add it now, but omit one egg yolk.)

Next, add in the flour, and ground nuts.  Beat in on low speed.  The mixture will be crumbly.  Knead together and form into a log.  Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.

When ready to bake, preheat oven to 350°F.  Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.  Set aside.

Pull about 1 tablespoon of cookie dough from the log.  Roll in your hand and form into a crescent shape. Set it down on the prepared baking sheet, leaving 2 inches of space between each cookie.

Bake for 12 minutes.

Remove from oven and allow to cool for 2 minutes.

Transfer to a wire cooling rack and dust liberally with confectioner&#039;s sugar.  Allow cookies to fully cool before storing.

These sausage rolls are so good, you can't have just one. They're fluffy, flaky crescent rolls wrapped around a creamy and cheesy sausage bite. These are a savory appetizer, but they'd make a delicious breakfast treat too. Bonus, they are super simple to prepare.

These are so good and simple. I sometimes with even add a cup of sharp cheddar cheese to the mixture.  Either way, it is superb!

This is a really lemony treat you can enjoy for breakfast, afternoon tea, or as a midnight snack. It's super easy to whip up! You probably have the ingredients in your pantry and fridge. We loved the creamy lemon curd filling. And, the crunchy sugar topping is perfect!

Beef Enchilada Crescent Roll-Ups

can refrigerated Pillsbury Grands! crescent rolls (8 count)

(8-ounce) package Mexican blend shredded cheese (2 cups)

Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until cooked through. Drain away excess grease. Add the salsa to the meat in the skillet and cook on low for about 5 minutes or until heated through. Add salt and pepper to taste. Allow to cool slightly.

Unroll the crescent rolls and place about 2 tablespoons of the meat mixture on the wide ends of each crescent. Add a generous pinch of cheese. Roll up each crescent and place it into the baking dish. It&#39;s a messy, imperfect process, so don&#39;t worry if some of the filling falls out.

Pour the enchilada sauce over the crescents and top with the remaining cheese. Leftover meat mixture or filling that fell out when rolling can be sprinkled over the crescents as well.

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until the crescents are golden brown. Allow to cool slightly then serve with toppings of your choice.
