High Society Cucumber Sandwiches with Cream Cheese

bread

tbsp cream cheese

cucumber

salt

¼ tsp pepper

tbsp butter

tbsp dill, fresh ((or mint))

Spread butter on half the slices of bread, and cream cheese on the other half.

Peel and slice the cucumber thinly.

Layer the cucumber slices on the buttered side. Dash a little salt and pepper onto the cucumber.

Sprinkle over the dill or mint leaves.

Slap cream cheese bread on top of cucumber bread.

Remove crusts from bread, serve on silver platter ;-)

High Society Cucumber Sandwiches – the Dos and Don’ts | Ready in 5 minutes!

Cucumber Sandwiches are an appetizer must for a tea party, Mother&#039;s Day brunch, baby shower, bridal shower, or any get together. Simple finger food that&#039;s cool, fresh, light, and so delicious!

Cucumber Sandwiches

white sandwich bread ((about 1 loaf), crusts removed)

English cucumber

cream cheese (, softened)

mayonnaise

dill

chives

lemon juice

garlic powder

black pepper (,

Peel the cucumber in stripes and cut into 1/8-inch thin slices using a mandolin or sharp knife. Place the slices on paper towels and sprinkle with coarse salt. Let rest for 15-30 minutes to extract moisture. Pat dry with clean paper towels.

In the meantime, make the spread. In a medium bowl, using a handheld mixer, blend together the softened cream cheese, mayo, dill, chives, lemon juice, garlic powder, and salt.

Spread one side of each slice of bread with the herbed cream cheese.

Layer cucumber slices over half of the bread slices. Season with fresh cracked black pepper, to taste. Top with remaining bread slices, cream cheese mixture down. (At this point, you&#039;ll have 8 full sandwiches.)

Using a sharp Chef&#039;s knife, cut each sandwich into quarters, pushing through the bread down to the bottom. So you have 32 tea sandwiches.

Serve right away and enjoy!

Perfect for lunch, brunch, or a party appetizer, these Cucumber Sandwiches are simple to make and perfect for entertaining. They may be dainty, but they pack a ton of flavor!

oz cream cheese, (at room temperature)

heavy whipping cream

Worcestershire sauce

lemon pepper

bread, (crusts removed)

English cucumber, (thinly sliced)

In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, cream, dill, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, lemon pepper and salt. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth.

Lay the slices of bread out on a work surface. Spread evenly with the cream cheese mixture.

Layer cucumbers on top of half of the slices of bread with the cream cheese mixture, then top with the remaining bread, cream cheese side down.

Slice the sandwiches as desired - I usually do them in 4 triangles, but you could also cut them into 4 squares or 3 rectangles.
