Lots of factors influence outcome of how curly fries cook. They all vary in size,  thickness, and sometimes the coating so you’ll have to adjust timing. For smaller air fryers (less than 5qt.) 1 pound is about the max without overcrowding the air fryer. The more you fill the basket the more frequently you’ll want to shake the basket to help them cook evenly. If you have a larger air fryer, you can cook more so long as the basket isn’t filled more than 1/2 full. All air fryers are different and some cook much hotter than others. Once you cook your first batch of fries, you’ll know more of what works for your model of air fryer and size of food. These  were tested on basket style air fryers. Air Fryer Frozen Curly Fries

Place the frozen curly fries in the air fryer basket and spread out evenly. No oil spray is needed.

Air Fry at 400°F/205°C for 10 minutes. Shake and gently stir about halfway through cooking. If cooking larger batches, or if the curly fries don&#x27;t cook evenly, try turning them multiple times on following batches.

If needed air fry at 400°F/205°C for an additional 1-4 minutes or until crisped to your liking. Season with salt &amp; pepper, if desired.

Grilled salmon with kale & vermouth sauce

x 175-200 grams/6-8 ounces pieces thick salmon fillet

butter ,melted

curly kale

potatoes

fish stock

tbsp double cream

dry white vermouth

chilled unsalted butter

thyme leaf

Preheat the grill to high. Make the sauce: pour the stock, cream and vermouth. Put into a medium-sized saucepan and boil rapidly until reduced by three-quarters. Turn off heat and keep warm.

Brush the salmon on all sides with half the melted butter and season. Place on a lightly buttered baking tray and grill for 8 minutes until just cooked through.

While the salmon is cooking, bring a large pan of salted water to the boil, add the kale and cook for 3-4 minutes. Remove, drain well and return to the pan, then add the remaining melted butter and toss. Cover pan to keep warm.

Bring the sauce to a simmer, then whisk in the chilled butter one piece at a time. Stir in the thyme and season to taste.

To serve, divide the kale between 4 warmed plates and top each with a piece of salmon. Spoon some of the sauce over the fish and the rest around the kale. Serve with steamed new potatoes and any remaining sauce in a small jug.
