Banana Daiquiri

coconut milk, divided

sugar, divided

ice, divided

white rum, optional, divided

Into a blender add 1 banana, 1/2 cup coconut milk, 1/2 of the lime juice, 1/4 cup of the sugar, and 3 cups of ice and add 2 ounces of rum if desired. Blend until smooth, about 1 minute. Pour into 2 tall glasses, and repeat for 2 more drinks.

Super easy to whip up.  I throw brown bananas in the freezer and this is a great way to use them.  It's lite and refreshing.  

This was pretty yummy I didn’t use sugar instead  I added some pineapple juice for the sweetness for the adults. But When I made virgin ones for the kids I added about 1/4 cup of sugar and they loved it!

Omit the ice and sugar.  Just use frozen bananas and you can throw in a couple chunks of some other frozen fruit too. Then youll have a truly delicious cocktail in your hands.  ANd use spiced rum not white.  And no bacardi.

Yummy and simple. I put a big dollop of Nutella in one batch. It was wonderful.

Classic Daiquiris

sugar

lime juice (9 limes)

dark rum

Combine the sugar with 1 cup water in a small saucepan, and heat until the sugar dissolves completely. Set aside to cool or refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.

When ready to make the cocktails, combine the lime juice, 1 cup of the sugar syrup, and the rum in a pitcher. Fill 6 cocktail glasses with ice and pour the mixture over the ice. Garnish each cocktail with a slice of lime and serve ice cold.

Have made this recipe several times and just love the fresh lime taste. Although it calls for dark rum it makes the pretty line green color turn to a brown muddy color? But it’s still a great Recipe Ina! Cheers!

Add the strawberries, lime juice, agave and rum to a NutriBullet® tall cup (24 ounces). Attach the extractor blade and blend until smooth and combined. Serve immediately.

In a blender, combine the frozen strawberries, rum, lime juice and sugar. Blend until smooth and divide among 6 highball or hurricane-style glasses. Garnish each glass with a strawberry slice and serve immediately.

Easy and tasty!<br /><br />Ive now also made this as margarita. Swap rum for tequila. 2 shots triple sec. 2 tablespoons agave nectar. No sugar. No regrets ❤️

GZ's Strawberry Daiquiri

Forget everything you think you know about daiquiris. The original daiquiri is not something you get out of a slushy machine, but a rum drink with the perfect marriage of bitter citrus and sweet cherry. Simple Syrup, recipe follows

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add the rum, grapefruit juice, lime juice, maraschino liqueur and Simple Syrup. Shake well to combine. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a lime slice.

Combine the sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Remove from the heat and let cool completely. Keep covered in the refrigerator for up to a month.
