This old fashioned Peach Cobbler recipe is not only extremely easy to make from scratch, but it's made with fresh or canned peaches so you can enjoy it all year round!

Peach Cobbler

peaches (, peeled, cored and sliced (about 4 cups))

sugar

salt

Tablespoons butter

all-purpose flour

baking powder

milk

cinnamon

Add the sliced peaches, sugar and salt to a saucepan and stir to combine.  *(If using canned peaches, skip steps 1 &amp; 2 and follow the directions starting at step 3) 

Cook on medium heat for just a few minutes, until the sugar is dissolved and helps to bring out juices from the peaches. Remove from heat and set aside.&nbsp;

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Slice butter into pieces and add to a 9x13 inch baking dish. Place the pan in the oven while it preheats, to allow the butter to melt. Once melted, remove the pan from the oven.

In a large bowl mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the milk, just until combined. Pour the mixture into the pan, over the melted butter and smooth it into an even layer.&nbsp;

Spoon the peaches and juice (or canned peaches, if using) over the batter. Sprinkle cinnamon generously over the top.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 38-40 minutes. Serve warm, with a scoop of ice cream, if desired.

Clafoutis are so easy to make as you do not have to make a crust for them. Fresh fruits, a few ingredients, and voila, this perfectly sinful recipe is ready to be enjoyed.

Peach Clafoutis

peaches (halved and pit removed)

eggs

almond flour

vanilla extract

sea salt

almond slivers

unsalted butter (to grease the pan)

sugar (for dusting)

Preheat the oven to 375℉ and position your rack in the middle of the range.

Using your unsalted butter, generously coat your 10-inch cast iron or gratin dish with the butter and set aside.

Whisk the eggs with the sugar in a medium bowl of your KitchenAid stand mixer.Add the milk, and slowly add flour, vanilla, and salt. Whisk to combine well, and no lumps form in the batter.

Arrange the peach halves in a single layer in the pan or gratin dish.

Pour the batter evenly around the peaches, then sprinkle with the almond slivers.

Bake the clafoutis until it puffs up and is lightly golden brown around the edges. It takes around 30 to 35 minutes.

Place the skillet on a wire rack and let it cool off for about 10 minutes.

Serve warm or at room temperature. Dust powdered sugar over the peaches and serve.

My peach trees exploded with fruit this year! I tried this delicious clafoutis recipe because I was looking for some new ways to eat them, and it was delicious!

I just love how impressive this dessert looks and feels despite it being so easy to make. I'm hoarding all the fresh peaches I can while they're still around and will be making this again next weekend to enjoy them!

This is one of those recipes for which the deliciousness FAR outweighs the work it takes to make it. It's seriously so easy - took me less than 15 minutes! And, it's as delicious and comforting as a warm hug. One of my new favorite recipes!

Admittedly, I am NOT a pie baker, so this dessert was perfect for me to make! No crust = a happy me, and my family loved it too.
