Fresh Peach Cobbler just may be the ultimate summer dessert comfort food. It's simple, easy and a timeless classic with a buttery cobbler topping, fresh juicy peaches, and hints of cinnamon in a rich, sweet syrup. This is the best peach cobbler I have ever eaten! It has a perfectly wonderful crust that is crisp on top but is also soft and moist and chewy thanks to the juicy peaches bubbling below it.

salted butter, (melted)

peaches,

brown sugar

Tablespoons sugar

cinnamon

cornstarch

lemon juice

all-purpose flour

baking powder

table salt

Tablespoons butter,

water

Heat oven to 400°F. Peel, pit and slice peaches into thick slices. Melt butter and pour into a large 9x13" pan.

In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches, sugars, cinnamon, cornstarch and lemon juice and toss to coat. Pour into the pan right over the melted butter. Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven while preparing cobbler topping.

While the peach filling is baking, prepare the cobbler topping by combining the flour, sugars, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.

Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut the cold butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs, then stir in the boiling hot water just until everything is combined.

After peaches have cooked for 10 minutes, remove from the oven and drop spoonfuls of the cobbler topping over the peaches. The topping will rise and spread as it cooks, so no need to worry about spreading it around. Just try to cover the peaches evenly with dollops of cobbler topping.

Sprinkle the cobbler with the 3 additional tablespoons of granulated sugar, then return to the oven and bake for 30 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and the peach filling is bubbling up around the edges. You may want to bake it on a baking sheet just in case the fruit juices bubble over during the cooking process.

Remove from heat and allow to cool for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour before serving with vanilla ice cream.

Now this is my kind of desert recipe. I absolutely love peach cobbler!!

This easy strawberry blueberry cobbler is the perfect red, white, and blue dessert for summer gatherings—baked with berries and topped with fluffy biscuits.

Strawberry Blueberry Cobbler

blueberries, fresh or frozen (2-16 oz containers)

strawberries, fresh or frozen (2-16 oz containers)

sugar ((can substitute with Splenda sugar

butter, grated

Preheat oven to 375ºF.

In a medium bowl, stir together strawberries, blueberries, cornstarch, 1 cup sugar, and lemon juice. Pour into the bottom of the casserole dish.

Next, rinse and dry the bowl before adding self-rising flour, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and grated butter. Then, pour in the milk and use a heavy wooden spoon to stir until just mixed. Do not overmix, otherwise, your biscuits will be dense and heavy.

Drop the biscuit dough with a large spoon and press lightly to partially submerge them into the fruit cobbler mixture.

Bake at 375ºF for 30 minutes, until the filling is bubbly and the biscuits on top are golden. Let cool at least 20 minutes before topping with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or cream cheese.

This cobbler was so good! It was only my second time making a cobbler, and I was pretty nervous, but it was super straightforward and came out PERFECT! Literally looked JUST like the picture, it was crazy! Tasted super good too. Definitely drained the juices on the fruit, will be using them for a yummy smoothy tomorrow! The recipe came out quicker then I thought too. 10/10, will be making again.

Oh yum, this cobbler recipe was so good! Fruity and delicious, the perfect dessert. Thank you!

With berry season fast approaching, I can't wait to try this cobbler! It looks soooo good!

I saved this week for next Sunday. I love all the beautiful fruit. Can’t wait to serve it warm with vanilla ice cream.

I decided to use frozen berries and was so glad I read your tip about allowing the extra juices to be removed when they thaw. This turned out so well. Thanks!

Enjoyed this for dessert last night and it was a sweet success! Turned out easy and delicious; exactly what I needed to cure my sweet tooth, indeed!
