Measure and keep all ingredients ready. In a wide bowl, add poha /rice flakes. Add coconut milk to this and mix.

To this now, add freshly grated coconut and sugar. Give it a good mix.

Remove the skin of the cardamom and use only the seeds. Pound it along with clove in a mortar-pestle and add it to the poha.

Finally add dry ginger powder and mix it well.

Keep it covered for 10 minutes for the flavors to mingle. Serve it immediately.
