Simplify taco and fajita making with this 5-minute homemade taco seasoning! This recipe is low FODMAP as well as naturally Paleo and Whole30 (although check labels of individual spices for sulfites and other additives).

Homemade Taco Seasoning (Low FODMAP, Paleo, Whole30)

tbsp chili powder

oregano leaves

chives

tsp cumin

paprika

cayenne

½ tsp sea salt

½ tsp ground black pepper

Add all the ingredients to a small bowl or air-tight container (such as a glass jar) and whisk or cover and shake until well combined.

Add to your favourite Mexican dishes like tacos and fajitas as well as my upcoming Grilled Chicken Fajita Salad.

Whisk the ingredients together in a small bowl. Transfer to an airtight container or jar. Store for 6 months to 1 year in a cool, dry place.

No mention of how much seasoning to use. I know most would say to taste but need an idea on where to start.

Very good.  I mixed up a batch to store.  And cooked some shrimp and chicken fajitas as well.  Added about 1/4 cup water to the saucepan.  Excellent.
