This classic French Martini requires only three ingredients. Smooth, sweet, and creamy, this cocktail is perfect for all occasions.

oz vodka (60 milliliters)

oz chambord liqueur (30 milliliters)

pineapple juice (30 milliliters)

Put some ice into the cocktail shaker.

Pour the vodka, Chambord, and pineapple juice into the shaker.

Close and shake vigorously. Pour into martini glass.

This cocktail might have a classic name but it only dates back to 1989! Depending on what you read it was either invented at a bar in New York or by the Chambord company itself as a promotion. Either way its a fun cocktail with a nice fruity note that’s dangerously strong but oh so smooth! Add it to your bartending repetoir or play with the recipe and have some fun with your mixology.

If you can’t find Chambord you can make this cocktail with Creme de cassis, which is a delicious black currant liquor that works wonderfully in this French martini recipe.

How to Make a French Martini

The French martini is a triumph! This classy cocktail is perfectly balanced with vodka, pineapple juice, and raspberry liqueur.

Classic French Martini

(4 tablespoons) vodka

(2 tablespoons) pineapple juice

(1 tablespoon) Chambord*

For the garnish: raspberry (optional)

Add the vodka, pineapple juice, and Chambord to a cocktail shaker. Fill it with ice and shake it until cold.

Strain into a cocktail glass. If desired, garnish with a raspberry.

Nice combination of 3 ingredients I enjoy and you can tweak proportions according to your personal taste
