There is no other cocktail that is as highly requested as the classic margarita. And for good reason! This simple recipe is easy to master, and even easier to drink.

Classic Margarita Recipe

oz tequila blanco (such as Casamigos)

oz fresh squeezed lime juice

oz triple sec (recommended Cointreau)

½ oz agave nectar

kosher salt

lime wedges

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, then add tequila, lime juice, cointreau, and agave. Secure lid, then shake for 10-12 seconds to aerate the drink.

Run a lime wedge along the rim of a glass, then dip upside down into a shallow bowl of kosher salt. Place ice in glass (optional).

Strain drink into glass and serve.

A refreshing guava margarita on the rocks! Made with guava nectar, coconut water, fresh lime juice, tequila, and a touch of agave. No margarita mixes here! The Best Guava Margarita (On-the-Rocks!)

guava nectar

coconut water

lime juice

Lime wedges, unsweetened shredded coconut, lime

On a plate, combine unsweetened shredded coconut, lime zest, and kosher salt. Run a lime wedge around the rim of the glasses and dip them in coconut salt mixture to coat. Set aside.

To a cocktail shaker, add guava nectar, tequila, coconut water, lime juice, agave, and a few ice cubes. Cover and shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Taste and adjust for sweetness. Add more agave if desired.

Add ice cubes to the prepared glass. Pour the guava margarita into the glass and garnish with a lime wedge. Enjoy!

I added a little more tequila but this tasted great! Both before and after the extra shot of tequila. Definitely will make again.
