This beefy ravioli casserole will be a huge hit with the entire family. Ground beef is cooked with diced tomatoes and your favorite marinara sauce and layered with frozen cheese filled ravioli pasta, and then topped with two types of cheese and cooked for several hours.

Pound Extra Lean Ground Beef

Ounces Frozen Ravioli Pasta

Small Yellow Onion (Peeled And Diced)

Clove Garlic (Peeled And Minced)

14.5 Ounces Canned Diced Tomatoes

Ounces Jarred Marinara Sauce

Teaspoon Dried Italian Seasoning

Cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese

Cup Chopped Fresh Basil

In a large skillet on the stove-top, cook and crumble the ground beef until no longer pink. Drain off excess cooking fat.

Add cooked ground beef, onion, garlic, and diced tomatoes to the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes over medium-high heat.

Add marinara sauce and Italian seasoning to the pan, stir and simmer an additional 5 minutes.

Pour 1 cup of the sauce into the bottom of a 3.5 quart casserole slow cooker OR a 6 quart or larger oval slow cooker.

Add half of the frozen ravioli pasta on top of the sauce.

Layer with half of the sauce mixture, the rest of the ravioli and the remaining sauce.

Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses evenly over the top.

Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours.

Remove lid and sprinkle fresh basil over top of casserole.

Place meatloaf mixture inside a 6 quart or larger oval slow cooker and shape the meat mixture into a loaf shape, keeping it away from the sides by about 1/2 to 1 inch all around.

Cover and cook on LOW for 5 to 6 hours or until an instant read meat thermometer registers 160° F (72° C).

In a small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, brown sugar, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Spoon topping over the top meatloaf.

Recover slow cooker and continue to cook for an additional 15 minutes.

Turn off slow cooker, remove the lid and allow the meat loaf to rest for 15 minutes before removing the meat loaf from the slow cooker and cutting for serving.
