fudge brownie recipe

Brownies usually use a lot of butter, chocolate and eggs, but you dont need a lot to get a lovely fudgy consistency.  The key is to use quality cocoa and chocolate  this gives you all the flavour without the fat.

Fudge brownie recipe

flour

cocoa powder

tsp baking powder

(50 grams) dark chocolate

espresso coffee

butter

eggs

tsp vanilla extract

tbsp sour cream

sugar

These Godiva chocolate brownies are chewy, gooey, fudgy, and have the best crackly tops around. They're everything you could ever want in a brownie, and then some.

Godiva Chocolate Brownies 

bittersweet chocolate baking bar, chopped

(4-ounce) package Godiva unsweetened chocolate baking bar, chopped

espresso powder

vanilla

salt

eggs, room temperature

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line the 8-inch square pan aluminum foil, leaving an overhang on the sides. Grease foil with cooking spray or butter.

Place bittersweet and unsweetened chocolates and butter in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on 70% power for 1 minute and stir. Microwave at 30-second intervals and stir until chocolate is completely melted. Stir in espresso powder and salt. Set aside.

In a large bowl, beat eggs and sugar on high speed or until thick and pale yellow, for about 3 minutes. Add the melted chocolate and beat on low speed until well-combined.

Gradually sift in the flour and whisk gently just until streaks of flour disappear.

Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with dry crumbs.

Cool the brownies in the pan for 5 minutes. Lift the brownies out of the pan using the overhang and transfer them onto a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!
