This Bacon-Wrapped Pork Tenderloin recipe uses 5 simple ingredients to deliver an impressive dinner that is easy enough to pull off on a busy weeknight.

Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin

Prepare Oven and Pan

Preheat the oven to 400℉. Cover a rimmed baking sheet with foil and then top with a oven safe cooling rack.

Trim Pork

Remove as much of the fat as possible from the tenderloin, simply pulling it off with your fingers. To remove the silver skin, (a strip of fat that looks like packing tape), slip the knife blade just under the silver skin, making a “tab” to hold on to. Then, holding the tab taut with one hand, run the blade of the knife under the membrane, keeping it angled away from the meat. Try to take off only silver skin, leaving the meat behind.

Season Pork

Season the pork tenderloin liberally with the seasoned salt. Rub the salt into the surface of the pork tenderloin and then shake off any excess.

Wrap Pork

Lay the pork tenderloin over the strips of bacon. Wrap the bacon tightly around the pork tenderloin, trying to not overlap bacon, so that the bacon will evenly cook and become crispy.

Glaze Pork

Place pork tenderloin on prepared pan, bacon seam side down. Combine the maple syrup and cayenne pepper and brush over top of the bacon.

Bake

Insert a digital thermometer inside pork tenderloin and roast until a thermometer reaches 145 degrees F.  This is about 18-22 minutes.

Rest

Remove the pork from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

This pork was so tender and juicy, I could not get enough of it!! I already saved this recipe and will be making it again for Thanksgiving, honestly probably will be making it before then too :)

This glazed pork tenderloin is coated in a flavorful spiced brown sugar rub, then seared to perfection in the same pan it’s baked in. A delicious and easy weeknight dinner!

Island Glazed Pork Tenderloin

cumin

chili powder

cinnamon

olive oil

dark brown sugar

garlic

Tabasco (, or favorite hot sauce)

Preheat.

Rub.

Stir together salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Coat pork with spice rub.

Brown.

Heat oil in an ovenproof 12-inch heavy skillet over moderately high heat until just beginning to smoke. Brown pork on all sides, turning occasionally, about 4 minutes total. Remove from heat; leave pork in skillet.**

Prepare the Pork:

Mix.

Stir together brown sugar, garlic and Tabasco in a small bowl. Pat the mixture on top of the tenderloins.

Bake.

Place the skillet in the preheated oven. Roast until thermometer inserted diagonally into the center of each tenderloin registers 140°F, about 20 minutes.

Slice.

Remove from oven. Let pork stand in skillet, loosely covered with foil for 10 minutes. Slice and serve with glaze from pan.
