gnocchi al gorgonzola

La ricetta degli gnocchi al gorgonzola è così semplice che tutti, ma proprio tutti, possono affrontare la preparazione di questo primo piatto, anche i neofiti in cucina. Si tratta di un piatto veloce e gustoso, soprattutto se si parte da gnocchi congelati in precedenza oppure acquistati.

Gnocchi al gorgonzola

800 g di gnocchi di patate

250 g di gorgonzola

70 ml di latte intero

ml di panna fresca

60 g di parmigiano reggiano

noce di burro

pepe

sale

noce moscata (facoltativa)

Mentre portate a ebollizione l'acqua per gli gnocchi al gorgonzola, preparate il condimento. In una casseruola fate fondere a fuoco dolce il latte, la panna, il burro e il gorgonzola tagliato grossolanamente. Aggiustate di sale, pepe fresco di mulinello e, se gradite, noce moscata.

Cuocete gli gnocchi nell'acqua salata e scolateli con un mestolo forato non appena salgono galla. Conditeli con la salsa di gorgonzola calda  e unite il parmigiano reggiano grattugiato. Fateli saltare sul fuoco in modo da avvolgerli completamente. Trasferite gli gnocchi al gorgonzola nei piatti da portata e servite.

Simple Gnocchi Gorgonzola

2.6 lbs pre-cooked gnocchi (Note 1)

oz Gorgonzola (Note 2)

½ tbsp Parmesan (, freshly grated)

heavy cream

milk

dry white wine

nutmeg (to taste)

tsp fine sea salt (or Kosher)

black pepper

Set a large pot of water to cook. In the meantime, prepare the sauce.

Remove the rind of the Gorgonzola and cut it into small cubes.

Place in a small saucepan together with the grated Parmesan, cream, milk, and wine. Heat gently on low heat to melt the cheese, stir often. Adjust the taste with nutmeg, salt, and pepper.

Cook the gnocchi in salted water according to the packet’s instructions, those that I use normally need only 2-3 minutes. Drain well and return to the empty pot.

Pour the sauce on top and stir gently to coat. Serve immediately.
