Halloween Dirt Cups consist of alternating layers of Oreo crumbs and chocolate mousse. To get the appearance of a Halloween graveyard we add candy decorations such as gummy worms, pumpkin candies, and cracker &quot;gravestones.&quot;

Halloween Dirt Cups

3.9 oz instant chocolate pudding mix

milk

oz frozen whipped topping (thawed)

Oreo

gummy worms

pumpkin candy corns

Mint Melanos (for tombstones)

Black frosting (for writing on tombstones)

In a large bowl whisk the instant pudding and cold milk for 2 minutes. Let pudding sit for 5 minutes. Fold in the thawed frozen whipped topping. 

In the bottom of plastic cups, or jars, place 1-2 tablespoons of the oreo crumb mixture. Layer the chocolate pudding, then add another layer of oreo crumbs, pudding, then finish with Oreo crumbs. 

Refrigerate for 1 hour. 

Decorate the tops of the dirt cups with gummy worms, tombstones, and any other festive treats. Serve cold.

In a large bowl crush Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. To make it easier put the cookies into a ziplock bag and crush them with a rolling pin. Or you could use a food processor too.

Create cookie tombstones by writing RIP on the rectangle cookies with food coloring using a toothpick or with a food marker.

Fill half of the glass pudding cups with crushed Oreo crumbs. Add several white chocolate drops close to the walls of the glass.

Spread the pudding over the top of the crushed cookies.

Add another layer of crushed cookie crumbs on top of the chocolate pudding. Intert one rectangle cookie with the RIP writing on top of the dirt cup.

Add several white chocolate drops on top and turn those into “eyes” by putting dots with a food marker or food coloring. Before serving add worms to the pudding mixture. Decorate with candy eyeballs.
