Grilled Pork Loin is a classic Sunday dinner. It has a traditional, comforting flavor that combines beautifully with just the right amount of smokiness. Feed your family or feed a crowd, it&#039;ll be an instant favorite.

Grilled Pork Loin

Heat the grill. Preheat your grill to 350 degrees F for 2-zone cooking (one indirect side of heat, one direct heat side).

Prep the roast. Trim any excess silverskin. You can leave a small fat cap on the top of the roast. Drizzle the roast with olive oil and season with chicken seasoning.

Grill the pork loin. Place the seasoned pork loin directly on the grill grates over indirect heat. Cook the roast for 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes or until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees F.

Rest, slice, and serve. Remove the pork from the grill and allow to rest for 15 minutes. Slice into 1/4 inch slices and serve.

Grilled Pork Loin with Apples, Sage, and a Hard Cider Pan Sauce - a delicious meal inspired by fall flavors! Allow 2-24 hours of marinating time.

Grilled Pork Loin with Apples &amp; Sage 

pork tenderloin,

lime juice lime

orange juice

cup maple syrup

garlic

salt

T butter

shallot

apple cider + 2 tablespoons (divided)

chicken stock

heavy whipping cream

Salt and pepper

butter

apples

sage

maple syrup

splash cider

Marinate pork: 

place the first 6 ingredients in a sealable bag, refrigerate and let marinate for at least 2 hours and up to 24 hours. The longer the better. Bring to room temperature before grilling.

Make the pan sauce

 In a medium pan, saute shallot over medium heat in butter until tender. Add cider, chicken stock and serrano chili, bring to a simmer, then turn heat to med-low and let simmer uncovered for 20 minutes, or until reduced by half. Add heavy whipping cream. (Don&#8217;t use half and half). Stir occasionally, continue to simmer until sauce thickens and turns into a lovely pale golden color, about 15 more minutes. Add salt and cracked pepper to taste (you may not need the salt).

Saute the apples

 At the same time, saute apples in butter and olive oil, in skillet over medium heat until golden and tender. Add sage, salt and maple, and a 2 tablespoons of hard apple cider. Once the cider has cooked down, turn off the heat and set the apples aside.

Grill Pork Loin

on medium heat, turning often until all sides are seared (about 12 minutes) and nicely charred. Turn grill to low and continue to cook (or place in a 350F oven) until internal temperature reaches 140 F. This is important. Do not overcook&#8211; or pork will become dry. Once the internal temp of pork is 140 F, promptly remove from heat and wrap tightly in foil and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Slice pork

and place on a platter, spoon apple mixture over and around.  Spoon Pan Sauce over the top or serve it on the side. Garnish with sage leaves.

Question: I have a 4lb pork loin (not tender loin). Should I cut it into chops for this grill recipe? Or should I sear and roast in the oven?

This French Onion Pork Loin is stuffed with caramelized onions, melty Gruyère cheese, and savory seasoning, then grilled to juicy perfection. A show-stopping pork recipe that’s perfect for family dinners, holidays, or special gatherings.

French Onion Pork Loin

Yellow onions

tbsp Olive oil

Unsalted butter

Beef broth

Worcestershire sauce

Gruyere cheese -

tbsp Dad's Steak Seasoning

Slice up 4 yellow onions and throw them in a large pot with the butter and olive oil, and cook over medium/low heat, stirring occasionally.

Once the onions are soft and start turning golden, add the beef stock and Worcestershire sauce.

Continue cooking and stirring the onions until they turn golden brown, approximately 30-45 minutes. Remove from the heat and allow to fully cool down.

Carefully cut down the side of the loin without cutting all the way though.  Open it up like a book and lay if flat. 

Cover it with a piece of plastic wrap and pound it down until it&#39;s 1/4&quot; thick and nice an even.

Season the butterflied pork loin with 2 tbsps of Dad&#39;s Steak Seasoning.

Add a layer of shredded Gruyere cheese and a layer of the caramelized onions. Be sure to leave a few tbsps left of each for use later.

Carefully roll the pork loin from one end to the other. Secure everything with 4-5 pieces of butcher&#39;s twine.

Preheat the grill to 300-325 degrees and set for indirect heat. Place the pork loin an a wire rack and place in the grill. 

When the pork reaches an internal temperature of 135 degrees, top it off with  the remaining cheese and onions.

Pull it off the grill when the internal temperature reaches 140 degrees and allow it to rest for 10-15 minutes. Serve and enjoy!

I just made this for our New Years Eve Party!!! Did the cook on my BGE! It took 2.5 hours at 325’ but the loin was 14lbs!!!

We tried this on a random Sunday dinner. Wow!  It was so good!  We are now making for our holiday dinner for 6guests  I’m sure it’ll be a hit!

I made if for a birthday celebration. It turned out wonderful and the family loved it. I added chopped mushrooms (only because I needed to get rid of them), madeira wine and minced garlic to the onion mixture. When it was resting, I spread it with some herbed butter. Will definitely make it again.
