It might have a naughty name, but Hanky Panky is one heavenly appetizer. Loaded with meat and cheese, the only sinful thing is that you won't want to share.

Hanky Panky (Easy Recipe)

beef

hot pork sausage

onion,

Velveeta cheese

Cayenne pepper,

Red pepper flakes,

bread

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, stir together ground beef, sausage, and onion until the meats are no longer pink, about 5 minutes. Drain off excess fat.

Reduce the heat to low. Season with cayenne pepper and red pepper flakes to taste.

Slice the cheese into cubes and add them to the mixture. Stir until melted. Remove from heat.

Place rye bread slices onto a baking sheet. Top each piece with a spoonful of meat mixture. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the bread is toasted and the cheese bubbles. Serve and enjoy!

lb ground hot sausage

lb ground beef, 80% lean

lb velveeta cheese

Worcestershire sauce

oregano

garlic powder

(12 oz) package party rye or pumpernickel bread

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the sausage and beef. Break into small pieces and cook until fully browned. Drain off grease.

Return skillet to stovetop and lower heat to low. Add worcestershire sauce, seasonings, and velveeta. Stir mixture until cheese is melted and everything is evenly combined.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and arrange the bread in a single layer on a baking sheet.

Scoop the filling onto the bread, about 2 tablespoons on each one.

Bake for 12-15 minutes or until bubbling.
