Apple Pizzas are a simple healthy snack idea. They're quick and easy, plus you can get the kids involved in making them and add their favourite toppings!

Apple Pizzas

lemon juice

apples

peanut butter

banana (sliced)

blueberries

raspberries

mixed seeds

coconut

cinnamon

maple syrup

Fill a mixing bowl halfway with cold water and add the lemon juice.

Core the apples and slice into 5mm / 1/4" slices, then place into the bowl of lemon water for a few minutes&nbsp;(to stop the apples browning).

Drain the apples, then spread a little peanut butter onto one side of each apple ring.&nbsp;

Top with desired toppings (try fresh, frozen or dried fruit, seeds, nuts, coconut, maple syrup, ground cinnamon etc... )

Alternatively, set out all the topping ingredients into small bowls and let kids add what they like to their 'apple pizzas!', encouraging them to try new tastes, flavours and textures!

Rock cakes are a light, crumbly tea-time favourite. Eat while they are still warm from the oven. So easy to make, and lots of fun for children to join in too. 

Each serving provides 214 kcal, 3g protein, 29g carbohydrates (of which 14.5g sugars), 9.5g fat (of which 6g saturates), 1g fibre and 0.3g salt.
