Banana Peanut Butter Oat Bars are made with just 6 ingredients for a healthy, simple snack. Rich in fiber and protein, these homemade granola bars will keep you full and fueled.

Banana Peanut Butter Oat Bars

bananas

peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)

maple syrup

Tbsp. coconut oil, melted

vanilla extract (optional)

oats

chocolate chips ((sub cacao nibs

walnuts (optional)

kosher salt

Preheat oven to 350ºF and line an 8x8&quot; baking dish with parchment paper.

Place bananas in a mixing bowl and use a fork to throughly mash. Once pureed, stir in peanut butter, maple syrup, coconut oil, and vanilla.

Add rolled oats, collagen or protein powder, chocolate chips, walnuts (if using), and salt; stir to combine.

Pour mixture into prepared baking dish and transfer to the oven. Bake for 22 to 24 minutes, or until set. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 30 minutes. Use the parchment paper to lift the bars out of the pan and let cool completely before slicing into.

Once cooled, slice into 10 bars. (I also like sprinkling some flaky salt overtop, however this is totally optional!)

Everything tastes better when you know it's good for you! These Copycat Homemade Perfect Bars are a great way to fill your body with extra protein and make your taste buds do the happy dance. Topped with chocolate chips, they're the perfect treat.

Copycat Homemade Perfect Bars

cup vanilla protein powder

tsp salt

peanut butter

cup honey

tsp vanilla extract

coconut oil

mini chocolate chips

In a large bowl, mix together oat flour, protein powder, and salt.

Add in peanut butter, honey, vanilla extract, and 1 tbsp coconut oil. Mix. It will be very thick, I suggest using your hands to really mix well. It should eventually come together like playdough, but if it&#8217;s still too dry add more coconut oil. You want them to be FIRM not soft and too much coconut oil will make them soft.

Mix in chocolate chips, again using hand or spoon.

Press into a bread pan (~8&#215;4) and add more chocolate chips on top if desired. Press them into the top.

Let sit in fridge for at least 1 hour before cutting into. Store in fridge.

Oh my yum! These hit the spot and truly are better than store bought. I swapped in canola oil, chocolate protein and cassava flour since that’s what I had on hand. They still are amazing and are great for scratching the snack or dessert itch!

WOWWW i made these with the subs for the birthday cake version (almond extract, sprinkles, cashew butter) and omg they are so so good. Texture is just like a perfect bar and the birthday cake flavor comes through so well. I rolled mine into balls so that i can pop them as snacks, and pressed each ball into a bowl filled with sprinkles.

These are amazing! I've made the chocolate PB bars and the birthday cake bars and they're both fantastic- even better than store bought. My whole family loves them, including my two year old.

These are so good! I made the pumpkin version - twice already because they were so good! Next up is to try the cake batter version!

Hi Erin! These are AMAZING, my partner and I are obsessed :D I used an ~8x4 pan, but for some reason mine came out way fatter than a Perfect bar or your photos. Do you cut them in half horizontally or did I miss something? It seems like if I halved the amounts in your recipe, it would turn out the right thickness...

I am perfect bar obsessed but these are the real deal!! I love having them on hand and they stay good for a while :)

Best bars ever! I use peanut butter and its perfect. Honestly, I think these are even better than the real thing and literally come together in 10 minutes. I make these weekly for snacks for a fraction of how much the bars cost at the store.

Everyone NEEDS to make these. I like perfect bars but to be honest I think they are too sweet but these are just perfect! I just made the mint chocolate chip version and it is my favorite. Probably most definitely goin to make another batch already!!

We’ve made every version of these bars and they’re all amazing. We use unsweetened sun butter because my sons school is nut-free.

These perfect bars are great. I have made them using homemade oat “flour”, putting the oats in a food processor and it definitely still works but the texture is much less crumbled when using store bought coarse oat flour. I also like to add a little bit more of the “wet” ingredients, personally. But the flavor is incredible, and I’ve tried the cake batter variation, as well as the newest thin mint version. Love them all! Always in my rotation for an easy snack/breakfast

Erin, thank you for the heating the flour tip! I made these and the texture is spot on. My husband and I both agree the taste is even better than the original perfect bars! I can't wait to try some other variations. Oh, I decreased the chocolate chips to 1/4 cup and that was plenty to us! So for anyone wanting less sugar that's a great tip.

Easy and delicious! Can’t believe how much they taste like a perfect bar. I used almond flour and they were amazing.

Tastes just like perfect bars for literally a FRACTION of the cost. (Not paying $2-3 per bar anymore).I think the biggest taste difference came from the protein powder so I made them twice with 2 different brands of vanilla protein powder and found that the second one I used worked out much better. So, if they don’t turn out exact the first time switch it up a lil!

These are SO good. I usually buy perfect bars at the store, but they can get pricey so this is a great alternative. I meal prep them on sundays, and they're such an easy snack for post-workouts throughout the week! As usual, Erin killed it. P.S. They're best with rainbow sprinkles :)

These are AMAZING! Hesitated to make them because I am not a huge fan of protein powder, but I went with Erin's recommendation of Orgain plant based powder and these are now one of my absolute favorites! I have made several flavors and even shared with my co-workers, huge hit! People could not believe I made these, way better (and cheaper) than store bought!

I absolutely adore perfect bars but don’t get them as often as I’d like due to the price. I love a lot of Erin’s recipes and had to try this homemade alternative and I was NOT disappointed! They have the exact same texture as perfect bars and make the perfect snack. These bars taste even better than the original and almost reminded me of a peanut butter cookie dough. The best part-you would never guess that it’s healthy!

I made some substitutions which I would not recommend because the outcome was kind of crumbly. Completely my fault for not following as listed but still so delicious that I’ve just been putting it on yogurt instead of granola. I didn’t have enough oat flour so I used 1/2 c oat flour, 1/4 c ground flax and 1/4 c almond flour. I also subbed maple syrup for the honey. I can’t wait to make them again with the proper ingredients!

Made the thin mint version and omg I am in LOVE!!! I was just wondering if you could use powdered peanut butter mixed with water or if that wouldn't be thick enough? I'm not sure how much the peanut butter comes into that part but I just want to make sure it would stick together

I’ve tried every variation of these bars you come out with and OMG!🤤 My recent favorite is the Mocha version, but used Salted Carmel coffee protein powder! Love them and all your other recipes!

We can't get enough of  these! We subbed almond flour and they still taste amazing.  We tried the peanut butter and the thin mint bars. Even without chocolate chips  they were delicious! Next up- pumpkin! Can't wait!

Just like the real thing! I doubled the recipe and used 1/2 cup creamy natural peanut butter and 1/2 cup cinnamon raisin peanut butter. SO GOOD!

I've made several versions of these but had to come back to leave a review for the mocha. The texture with the ground coffee is incredible. I actually didn't even end up adding chocolate chips because I was enjoying the texture so much without. Erin, if you didn't have a successful blog I'd say go work for Perfect Bar's R&amp;D team because you nailed every one of these flavors! 

Protein powder note: I've used Bob's Red Mill's Vanilla Protein Nutritional Booster, Bob's Red Mill Chocolate Protein Nutritional Booster and Simply Tera's Chocolate Pumpkin Protein...they seem foolproof no matter what I use.

OH MY GOSH. These are amazing! I made the regular/original version and they are fabulous. The texture is very similar to the regular perfect bars and the taste is great. I used Bob's Red Mill oat flour and Orgain vanilla protein powder. I am looking forward to trying some of the different flavors. These will definitely be a great substitute for my regular Perfect bars and save some $$!

These are great. The first time I made them the vanilla flavor was too strong using vanilla extract along with vanilla flavored protein powder. The second time I made them I skipped the vanilla extract and they were perfect.

Copycat Perfect Bars 

The BEST Protein Bars are healthy, no-bake, and contains nothing artificial! These are chewy, delicious, easy to customize, and are the perfect healthy snack!

Protein Bars

peanut butter (, or favorite nut butter

banana (, mashed (120 g))

honey (, agave

salt

flax seed ((55 g))

protein powder* ((120 g))

vanilla extract ((10 ml))

Mix all ingredients except mix-ins until well combined. Fold in mix-ins until well distributed. Mixture should be fairly soft and not dry or crumbly. Add a splash of water or milk, or an extra drizzle of honey, if needed.

Press very firmly into an 8x8 inch pan lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before cutting into bars.

Store bars in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

I’m never buying protein bars again! These were super duper easy to make, and so tasty. They’re the perfect amount of sweet and chewy- not hard, powdery or WAY too sweet like store bought. I used coconut flakes as my mix-in, I’m in love.
