Our Red Velvet Cheesecake Cake Is Three Layers of Amazingness

One bite of Miranda Lambert's luscious chill-and-serve pie with its rich, crunchy peanut filling and you will forget all about peanut butter cups.

Peanut Butter Pie

refrigerated ready-to-use pie crust

cornstarch

salt

c. whole milk

peanut butter

butter

vanilla extract

heavy cream

peanuts

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Place pie crust in 9-inch pie plate; bake as label directs for one-crust pie shell.

In 4-quart saucepan, stir together sugar, cornstarch, and salt. In large bowl, whisk milk and egg yolks until blended; gradually whisk into sugar mixture. Heat on medium 6 to 7 minutes or until mixture thickens and boils, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute, stirring. Remove from heat; stir in peanut butter, butter, and vanilla until well blended.

Immediately pour peanut butter mixture into baked pie shell; press plastic wrap onto surface of filling. Refrigerate pie at least 4 hours or until well chilled and set.

To serve, top with whipped cream and garnish with chopped peanuts.

Easter Chocolate Lasagna is a fun and easy no-bake dessert recipe that kids will LOVE! It's made with crushed Oreos, cream cheese, chocolate pudding and Cool Whip and garnished with Peeps and Easter egg candies.

Easter Chocolate Lasagna

Oreo cookies

unsalted butter-melted

½ cups crushed Oreo

In a food processor finely crushed Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. If you don’t have food processor, place Oreo cookies into ziplock bag and crush the cookies with a rolling pin.

Using a fork mix crushed Oreo with melted butter, then press the mixture into the bottom of 9 x 13 inches dish. Place in the fridge to firm.

Beat cream cheese, softened butter, sugar and vanilla until it’s light and creamy. Stir in 1 cup Cool Whip. Spread the mixture over the crust and place in the fridge.

In a medium bowl mix chocolate instant pudding with 2 and 3/4 cups cold milk. Whisk for a few minutes until the pudding starts thickening. Spread the pudding over the cream cheese layer. Place in the fridge for 10 minutes.

Spread 2 cups Cool Whip on top and sprinkle with crushed Oreo. Refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving.

Garnish with Peeps and Easter egg candies.

Sry disappointed in the chocolate lasagna. The cream cheese filling is not light enough to spread over the layer of Oreo.  The oreo crumbles mix in with the spread and it is a complete mess. I will delete this pin for sure.

Only 15 minutes to make this old fashioned Pink Salad recipe is served as a side dish or dessert recipe. Unlike the Pink Fluff recipe, this Pink Salad recipe is made with gelatin, maraschino cherries, cream cheese, and cool whip topping. It can be served fluffy or frozen for a brightly colored holiday recipe.

Pink Salad Recipe

gelatin

water

pineapple (undrained)

oz cream cheese

maraschino cherries

oz container Cool Whip topping (another 8 oz container

Dissolve

Mix cold water with gelatin and whisk until lump free. Set aside.

Pour

Pour the crushed pineapple and juice into at least a 4-quart pot.

Boil

Add the sugar and stir to combine. Bring pineapple and sugar to a boil.

Once boiling pour the dissolved gelatin into the pot a stir into the pineapple until lump free.

Beat

Remove the pot from the stove and using a hand mixer carefully beat the cream cheese into the pineapple until lump free.

Chill

Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate an hour or until cooled and thickened.

Drain

Drain the cherries into a bowl reserving the juice. Roughly chop the cherries.

Stir

Remove the cooled pot from the refrigerator. Stir the chopped cherries and the reserved cherry juice into the cooled ingredients in the pot.

Fold

Fold the Cool Whip into the mixture. Transfer the ingredients to a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

Refrigerate

Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving. Overnight is best.

Garnish

Optional: Spread an 8 oz container of Cool Whip over the top and garnish with whole cherries.
