Crispy Fish Tacos Recipe by Tasty

Make the cabbage slaw: Combine the cabbage, onion, tomato, cilantro, jalapeño, lime juice, and salt in a large bowl. Toss well, then set aside.

Make the crispy fish: In a large bowl, combine the flour, Old Bay, and baking powder. Add the beer and whisk until smooth. Let sit for 15 minutes.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot until it reaches 350°F (180°C).

Coat the fish in the batter, then transfer to the oil and fry until golden on the outside and cooked through, 5-7 minutes. Drain the fish on a wire rack set over a baking sheet lined with paper towels.

Make the avocado crema: Add the avocados, sour cream, lime juice, and salt to a blender and blend until smooth.

To assemble the tacos, add a bit of the cabbage slaw to a warmed tortilla. Top with a piece of fried fish, avocado crema, and sliced radish.

Crispy Lamb Meatballs with Chickpeas and Eggplant

Pad See Ew (Thai Stir-Fried Noodles)

Beef (240 grams) (or chicken, shrimp, tofu)

wide rice noodles (300 grams) (or fresh/dry rice noodles)

garlic

Chinese broccoli (240 grams) (or regular broccoli, bok choy)

onion

white pepper,

soy sauce

Tbsp sugar

Tbsp fish sauce

Tbsp oyster sauce

1.5 Tbsp black soy sauce (or dark soy sauce)

Tbsp golden mountain sauce (or regular soy sauce)

red chili

Tbsp white vinegar

Prepare the noodles according to the package instructions. Smash garlic cloves and finely mince them. Chop Chinese broccoli into nice, bite-sized pieces. (Cut the stems a little bit thinner than you would do the leaves.) Thinly slice the green onion for garnish.

Cut the beef into nice, bite-sized pieces and put it in a mixing bowl. To that, add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil, 1/2 tablespoon of soy sauce, and 1/4 teaspoon of white pepper. Give it a good massage.

In a small container, combine all the sauce ingredients and mix well. In a separate bowl, add 4 tablespoons of white vinegar and 1 chopped chili. Let it sit for at least 15 minutes.

Prep Ingredients

Put 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok. Place it over medium-high heat. Once it gets nice and hot, add the beef and cook for 1 to 2 minutes. When the beef is cooked, remove it from the pan and set it aside.

In the same pan, add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Once it starts to get fragrant, increase the heat to high and add the Chinese broccoli. Cook for 1 minute or until the stems soften up a little bit.

Add the noodles and pour the sauce. Stir everything together. To sear the noodles, let it sit for about 20 to 30 seconds. Give it a toss and let it sear one more time. Once you've got good color, push all your noodles to one side. Into that empty space, add a splash of oil, crack 2 eggs, and scramble them a little bit. When the eggs are 80 percent cooked, stir-fry it all together.

Once everything is nice and evenly coated, add your cooked beef and toss it around for about 1 minute. Transfer it to a serving plate and finish it off with some white pepper and green onion. Enjoy~!

refrigerated pie dough rounds

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and fit one pie round into a 9 inch pie dish. Set aside.

Add the potatoes, drained whole kernel corn, creamed corn with liquid, eggs, and seasoning to a large pot and simmer for 15 minutes.

Transfer the filling to the prepared pie crust and top with butter pats.

Fit the second pie dough round on top and crimp the edge. Cut a few slits into the center of the pie to allow steam ventilation.

Bake the pie for 30 minutes and then cover with foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes. Serve hot.
