Cinnamon Spiced Apple Bread

large baking apples, peeled (about 1 pound)

(25 grams) granulated sugar

(100 grams) brown sugar

fine sea salt

cinnamon

ginger

nutmeg

(189 grams) all-purpose flour

baking powder

baking soda

neutral oil like vegetable oil oil

eggs,

vanilla extract

almond extract, optional

Easy Cinnamon Spiced Apple Bread

This Apple Bread is a moist, spiced quick bread loaded with tender chunks of peeled apples and a comforting blend of cinnamon and nutmeg. A luscious apple cider glaze drizzled over the top adds a perfect balance of sweetness and tang, making it an irresistible treat for breakfast, snack, or dessert.

Apple Bread with Cider Glaze Recipe

all-purpose flour

sugar

light brown sugar, packed

salt

eggs, room temperature

apples, peeled and chopped (about 2 medium apples)

apple cider

salted butter

Preheat and Prepare Pan

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×5 inch loaf pan with parchment paper, making sure to grease the parchment as well for easy removal.

Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, light brown sugar, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until well combined. Set aside.

Combine Wet Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, oil, and vanilla extract until smooth. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir just until combined. The batter will be thick and dense.

Fold in Apples

Gently fold the peeled and chopped apples into the batter, ensuring even distribution without overmixing.

Bake the Bread
