A homemade chorizo recipe that&#039;s easy to make and more flavorful than store-bought chorizo! This highly-seasoned Mexican sausage is made from ground pork.

Homemade Mexican Chorizo

paprika

cumin

ancho chili powder

chili powder

oregano

coriander

coarse kosher salt (plus more to taste)

cinnamon

cloves

pork

white vinegar

garlic, (minced)

In a small bowl, add paprika, ground cumin, ancho chili powder, regular chili powder, dried oregano, dried coriander, coarse kosher salt, ground cinnamon and ground cloves. Mix together to combine.

In a large bowl, add ground pork, the combined chorizo seasonings, white vinegar and minced garlic. Mix everything together with your hands until well combined.

Use immediately in your favorite recipe or store for later.

Easy Healthy Turkey Chorizo

olive oil spray

red wine vinegar

smoky paprika

cayenne pepper

garlic (minced)

black pepper

Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium heat, spray with oil and cook the meat, breaking it up in small pieces.

Season with vinegar and spices and cook until browned and no longer pink in the middle, 10 minutes.

Serve with eggs, breakfast bowls, tacos, burritos and more!
