Homemade cat treats are the purrr-fect way to show your feline friends some extra love. Made with only four ingredients, these chewy cat treats are simple to make. These treats will quickly become your favorite go-to for a wholesome recipe with no additives. Your cat will agree—these tuna treats are delicious!

Homemade Cat Treats

tuna (not drained)

whole wheat flour

egg (lightly beaten)

olive oil

Place a rack in the center of your oven. Preheat the oven to 350° Fahrenheit. Line a 19 x 13-inch half-sheet baking pan with parchment paper.

Add canned tuna to a small food processor. Pulse until tuna is finely chopped.

In a large bowl, combine tuna, whole wheat flour, and egg. Mix together until combined. Add olive oil and stir until fully incorporated.

Scoop about a tablespoon of dough and form into 1-inch balls. Place on a lined baking sheet. Once all the balls have been formed, use the tines of a fork to press firmly down on each ball.

Bake for approximately 12-14 minutes, or until the treats are slightly browned on the bottom.  Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet.

Oat and Apple Pretzel Dog Treats

range egg (50 grams)

applesauce (250 grams)

Preheat

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

Beat

Using a hand whisk, beat the egg and set it aside.

Combine

Combine the applesauce, oat flour, and rolled oats in a large bowl. Pour all but 1 tablespoon of the egg over the mixture and set aside the remaining 1 tablespoon of egg.

Stir

Using a wooden spoon, stir the mixture until a dough forms. The dough should be tacky but not overly sticky. Add a bit more or less flour if necessary.

Roll

Take a 2-tablespoon-sized piece of dough (approximate) and roll it into a tube. It should be about 10 inches long and about the width of a pencil.

Twist

Take each tube and make into a U shape, then twist the ends together and fold back to the top. This makes the pretzel shape. Pinch the ends in to make sure they're secure.

Place

Place the pretzels onto the baking tray. Brush the top of each pretzel with the remaining egg.

Bake

Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes, until they&#39;re slightly browned and become crispy. The pretzels should be pretty hard, just like pups love them!

Cool

Remove from the oven and allow to cool before serving.

Store

Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
