Succulent baked balsamic chicken with a bold marinade made with balsamic glaze, garlic, lemon juice, honey, and herbs. Ready in just over 30 minutes. I used boneless, skinless chicken thighs, but you can use use chicken breasts, if you prefer (see the recipe notes).

Easy Balsamic Chicken

extra virgin olive oil

balsamic glaze, (store-bought is fine)

tomato paste

honey

lemon, (juice of)

garlic cloves, (minced)

thyme

oregano

½ teaspoon sweet paprika

chicken thighs, ((about 1 ½ pounds))

Kosher salt and black pepper

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic glaze, tomato paste, honey and lemon juice. Add the garlic cloves, thyme, oregano and sweet paprika. Whisk again to combine.

Pat the chicken dry and season generously with kosher salt and black pepper on both sides.

Add the chicken to the mixing bowl and toss to coat with the balsamic marinade. Set aside briefly for a few minutes while you heat the oven (or if you have time, cover and refrigerate for a couple hours).

Heat the oven to 425 degrees F and adjust a rack in the middle.

Transfer the chicken to a baking dish or a heat-safe skillet. Bake on the center rack of the heated oven for about 25 to 30 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked through (internal temperature of cooked chicken should register 165 degrees F).

This Honey Balsamic Sheet Pan Chicken allows you to bake an entire chicken dinner on a sheet pan. Easy! Add a delicious Honey Balsamic sauce and you have a winner chicken dinner!

Honey Balsamic Sheet Pan Chicken Recipe

1-1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts ((thinly sliced))

black pepper

sea salt

garlic powder

paprika

Italian Seasoning

cayenne ((optional))

balsamic vinegar

Tablespoons oil

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Cover a sheet pan with foil and spray with cooking spray or place parchment paper on the sheet pan.

Place the chicken breasts on the sheet pan along with any small diced potatoes or chopped vegetables to cook with it.

Sprinkle the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, and cayenne (optional.)

Spray the chicken and vegetables with cooking spray.

Bake for about 20 minutes.

While the chicken is baking, in a small bowl stir together the balsamic vinegar, oil, and honey.

Remove the sheet pan chicken from the oven and drizzle the honey balsamic over the top.

Return to the oven for another 5 minutes.

Remove from the oven and serve hot.

Slow Cooker Honey Balsamic Chicken Thighs

tapioca flour

chicken thighs

raw honey

garlic cloves, grated

kosher salt, additional to taste

red pepper flakes (optional)

In a small bowl or jar, whisk the tapioca flour with 1/4 cup water until a white slurry is formed and no clumps remain. Set aside.

Place the chicken thighs in the bowl of a 6-quart slow cooker.

Add the balsamic vinegar, honey, garlic, oregano, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes (if using), and the tapioca flour slurry. Use tongs or a large spoon to mix until the chicken is coated in the spices and liquid.

Cover and cook until the chicken easily shreds with two forks, 3 hours on low or 1 1/2 hours on high.

Shred the chicken in the liquid and mix well. Salt to taste.
