The Hugo cocktail is a bubbly Italian spritz made with elderflower liqueur and Prosecco! It's the perfect refreshing drink.

(2 tablespoons) St Germain liqueur (chilled if possible)

(6 tablespoons) Prosecco

(2 tablespoons) soda water

Ice, for serving (try clear ice!)

For the garnish: fresh mint

Add the St Germain to a glass filled with ice and stir.

Top with the sparkling wine and soda water. Add mint and serve. 

This refreshing cocktail combines beautiful floral and herbal elements, elderflower and mint, with prosecco and lime to make the perfect aperitivo.  

Hugo Spritz

oz Elderflower liqueur,

oz Seltzer or sparkling water

oz Prosecco

lime (for garnish)

mint (for garnish)

Fill a wine glass with ice. 

Place the mint leaves in the palm of one hand and gently whack them with the other hand to release the oils and flavor. Then, hand tear the leaves and place in the glass.

Add 1 ounce elderflower liqueur, 2 ounces sparkling water or seltzer, and lime slices.

Fill the glass to top with prosecco and give a gentle stir.  Serve immediately and enjoy!
