The Dragon Fruit Mojito is one of the tastiest variations on the classic Mojito recipe we've ever tried. <p>This beautiful, fruity mixed drink combines coconut rum, simple syrup, lemon-lime soda, dragonfruit, lime wedges, and mint leaves, and tastes like a refreshing burst of relaxing island life.</p>

Dragon Fruit Mojito

(45 milliliters) Coconut Rum

(15 milliliters) Simple Syrup

(90 milliliters) Lemon-Lime Soda

Dragonfruit

Lime Wedges

Mint Leaves

Made this for my wife and myself today... first ever taste of dragon fruit and it was a bit bland so maybe not totally ripe but still good.  The drink is a winner!  My wife loved it.  It was a little sweet for me So I added another shot of white rum and it was perfect for me.  Thanks for the recipe!

Our tropical, rum-based hurricane cocktail is easy to make and sure to get your party started. Garnish with orange and cocktail cherries for a kitsch touch

Hurricane cocktail

dark rum

white rum

passion fruit

orange

lemon

sugar syrup

tsp grenadine

cocktail cherries

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice then add the rums. Scoop the flesh and seeds from the passion fruit and add to the shaker along with the orange and lemon juices, sugar syrup and grenadine.

Shake well until the outside of the cocktail shaker feels icy cold. Fill two hurricane glasses with fresh ice then double strain the drink into the prepared glasses.

Garnish each one with an orange slice skewered onto a cocktail stick and a couple of cocktail cherries.
