Going low-carb doesn't mean that you need to go out and buy a bunch of crazy ingredients. This spaghetti sauce recipe is essentially a really good red sauce. And unlike many jars at the grocery store, there's no added sugar. Keto fans, rejoice!

Low-Carb Spaghetti Sauce

olive oil

garlic,

tomato paste

(28-oz.) can crushed tomatoes

oregano

red pepper flakes

Kosher salt

black pepper

c. fresh basil, chopped

spaghetti squash

zoodles

Would you eat this with spaghetti or spaghetti sauce?

Yes I love the recipe. Yes I have a macro counter app. But it would be nice to have the carb count on a recipe that is promoted as low carb.  But yes, it is a nice recipe.

You would think since so many people are asking for the carb count the author of the recipe would provide it. So like everyone else, I’ll look for a different low carb recipe that actually shows the carb count.

Marinara Sauces at the store are often filled with sugar, additives and thickeners, our Low Carb Marinara Sauce has none of those ingredients. But it does have plenty of flavor!

Best Keto Marinara Sauce - Spaghetti, Pizza etc

Olive Oil

Garlic (finely grated)

Onion Flakes

Thyme (finely chopped)

Oregano (finely chopped)

Tomato Puree

Erythritol

Red Wine Vinegar

Salt

Pepper (ground)

Parsley (finely chopped)

In a saucepan, place the oil, garlic, onion flakes, thyme and oregano. Saute over medium heat for 3 minutes, until fragrant.

Add the tomato puree and stir well.

Add the erythritol, pepper, salt and red wine vinegar and bring to a simmer.

Turn off the heat and stir through the parsley

Cool the sauce and store in an airtight jar in the fridge.

2 cloves Garlic finely grated
2 teaspoons Onion Flakes
2 teaspoons Thyme finely chopped
2 teaspoons Oregano finely chopped
24 ounces Tomato Puree
2 teaspoons Erythritol
1 tablespoon Red Wine Vinegar
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Pepper ground
2 tablespoons Parsley finely chopped
