I made as written and overall it was great! Super easy, fast and tasty. I would agree that more could be done in the spice department. Next time I will likely add red chili flakes for heat, and perhaps will add more garlic and different cheeses. All in all however, a great weeknight dinner.

Made this tonite, it was good but I agree it needed mor flavor. I also wish it was creamer as it came out kind of dry. Think I'll add more seasoning and try to make it creamier if I make it again.

I just made this recipe adapting for items I had/didn’t have during lockdown. I only had dry pesto tortellini so pre cooked that and added it. I used diced broccoli instead of peas and cheddar instead of Swiss. The family cleaned their plates. I think the sharp cheddar I used gave a stronger flavor than the Swiss would have.

Subbed butternut squash & mascarpone ravioli to add another layer or two of flavour. Delish, indeed!

OK, clearly I missed a step here- are you supposed to make it with fresh tortellini, versus dried/packaged?  Or maybe cook the tortellini first?  I made exactly as written, tortellini was dry, undercooked... too much of it as well, called for 1.5 lbs... and it burned the bottom of the pan it was so dry.  Had to throw out dinner and soak the pan overnight to have a prayer of salvaging it.  What gives, can someone explain what I missed here?  As written, this recipe is ALL WRONG.

Definitely add shredded sharp cheddar absolutely delish

Made it exactly as the recipe stated and pretty much no one liked it. Swiss cheese with pasta is just wrong. Definitely won't make again. Looked good though.

If your toddler enjoys feeding him or herself then try these moreish chicken meatballs, made with fresh veggies and chicken thighs. Serve with rice and broccoli for a satisfying dinner

Weaning recipe: Chicken meatballs

celery stick

carrot

boneless skinless chicken thighs,

chives

boiled rice

broccoli

Heat oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. Blitz the celery, carrot, chicken and chives in a food processor until finely chopped. You may need to use a spatula to scrape the sides of the bowl a few times.

Shape into small meatballs. If freezing, space out on a tray and put in the freezer. Once frozen, transfer to a freezer bag and take them out when needed. Defrost thoroughly in the fridge before cooking.

To cook, put on a baking tray lined with greased foil and bake for 10 mins or until browned and cooked through.

Served with boiled rice and steamed broccoli.

Orange Flop 

7 Up (or other citrus soda)

orange jello

oz cream cheese, softened

oz tub of Cool Whip, thawed

mandarin oranges, drained

Pour 2 cups of the soda into a small bowl and microwave until nearly boiling, 2-3 minutes.

Remove the heated soda from microwave and stir in the package of jello.

In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and then add the jello mixture. Beat until fully combined.

Stir in the remaining 2 cups of chilled soda, then fold in the Cool Whip and mandarin oranges.

Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 baking dish and cover. Refrigerate for 4 hours or until set.

Pizza Hot Dogs

hot dog buns

dogs, boiled

c. pizza sauce

c. mini pepperoni

Preheat oven to 350°. Open hot dog buns and brush the inside with melted butter. Sprinkle with garlic powder. Place on baking sheet and bake until lightly golden, about 5 minutes.

Preheat broiler. Spoon a little sauce onto each hot dog bun then place boiled hot dog on top. Top each hot dog with mozzarella, sprinkle with Italian seasoning, then place mini pepperoni on top. Broil until the cheese is melty, about 2 minutes.

Line an 8x8 baking dish with foil or parchment paper.

Place Oreos in a food processor or blender and pulse until evenly ground.

Add marshmallows and butter to a large, microwave safe bowl, and microwave until butter is melted and marshmallows are soft and puffy.

Fold in crushed Oreos until well combined. Scoop mixture into baking dish and let set, about 10 minutes.

Crescent Rolls ((1.64))

Brown Sugar ((0.17))

Cut an apple into 8 slices by cutting it in half, then cutting each half in half again. Cut out the center core and then cut each quarter in half again.

Place your apple slices on a plate and cook them in the microwave for 1 minute. This helps to soften them because the oven won&#039;t cook them completely in a short period of time.

In a small bowl, melt your butter in the microwave for 30 seconds.

In a small mixing bowl, combine your brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
