Fragrant garlic, mushrooms, onions, and tomatoes are sauteed in butter and then tossed with fresh lemon juice and tender pasta to create the Lemon Butter Pasta of which dreams are made.

Lemon Butter Pasta with Mushrooms and Tomatoes

Better Than Bouillon chicken base

tomato

juice lemons (about 1/4 cup)

black pepper

kosher salt (to taste only as needed)

angel hair pasta

Pecorino Romano or Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)

Italian Parsley,

Cook the pasta, drain and set aside. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and saute for less than a minute, just until it is fragrant.

Add the mushrooms, onions and the optional chicken base. Saute for about 5 minutes, until the mushrooms and onions are tender.

Add the lemon juice, tomatoes, and pepper. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, until the tomatoes are warm.

Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss well to coat. Serve and sprinkle with cheese, if desired. Enjoy

These lemon butter pasta with burrata cheese are packed with delicious garlicky and lemony flavors. They also feature crispy capers and an irresistibly creamy burrata cheese.

Lemon Butter Pasta with Burrata Cheese

lb (454 grams) spaghetti

Tablespoons (85 grams) salted

lemons

lemon, juice

garlic,

Salt and pepper,

extra virgin olive oil

Tablespoon (15 grams) unsalted butter

(110 grams) breadcrumbs

Tablespoons capers, drained

red pepper flakes (optional)

cheese,

thyme

(120 ml) fresh basil, chopped

burrata cheese

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and reserve ½ cup (120 ml) cooking water for later.

While pasta is cooking, heat 1 Tablespoon of olive oil and 1 Tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the breadcrumbs, capers, dry thyme, grated parmesan cheese, and chili flakes. Cook, stirring occasionally until the breadcrumbs are toasted all over and the capers fried, about 4-5 minutes. Remove the breadcrumbs from the skillet and transfer to a shallow dish.

For the lemon butter pasta, wipe the skillet and reuse it. Melt 4 Tablespoons butter (55g) in the skillet over medium-high heat for a couple of minutes or until butter is browning, swirling the pan as needed. Add the garlic and cook for 1 more minute, until fragrant. Add lemon juice and zest, and stir.

Reduce the heat to low and add ½ cup of the pasta water*, the spaghetti and the remaining 2 Tablespoons (30g) butter, tossing until melted.

Remove from the heat, and serve lemon butter pasta with the crispy capers. Add fresh basil, torn burrata cheese, freshly ground black pepper and additional parmesan cheese. For more lemony flavors, grate additional lemon zest on top of your pasta before serving.

This was so delicious, fast, easy, and fun to make. I am still always in awe of how well butter and pasta water emulsify to make a creamy sauce with no cream. This was lemony, creamy, and super flavorful. The store was out of burrata so I had dollops of ricotta instead, also delicious. Thank you for sharing, Del!

Pan Fried Lemon Butter Fish

butter, divided

garlic powder

onion powder

paprika

parsley

lemon

spaghetti,

Kosher salt

cracked pepper

Heat large saute pan over medium high heat. Melt 3 tablespoons butter. 

Season fish with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and a large pinch of salt and pepper. 

Saute fish for 2-3 minutes in the butter. 

Flip fish over to cook the other side and add remaining butter, chopped parsley and lemon zest. 

Cook fish on the second side for another 2-3 minutes. 

Gently remove fish from the pan and set aside. 

Add in spaghetti noodles and toss to coat evenly. 

Then add fish back into the pan and squeeze the fresh lemon juice over the fish. 

Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and lemon wedges and enjoy!

I love this kind of recipe, stuff I usually have on hand. Even Mr Picky liked it. I added some broccoli to the pasta in the last few mins and it went well with it. This one is a keeper!

I wish I was able to post a picture because mine came out amazing! I used some flavor god lemon and garlic seasoning along with paprika. My butter sauce was a lot darker then the recipe shown. The spaghetti tasted amazing along the cod which I didn’t think it would work together.

I didn't mind the dish, but my wife really disliked it. "Too much lemon!" was her critique. If I try this again, and I think I well might, I'll cut the lemon by half.

Hi, I cooked this recipe today. I ask myself should I remove the fish skin in which step ? Before to add pasta ? While I'm eating ?
However, it was very easy, good, and different from what I'm used. I did'nt had lemon, I taked lime instead.

I made this for our date night dinner last night. Oh my goodness, it was delicious! I tried the pan seared scallops but I don't think the pan was hot enough and the scallops were small, so I got a lot of liquid in the pan. Scallops were done so I tossed it all into the pasta. We cleaned the bowl! Thank you for such a great recipe.

This was tasty, but I thought it needed some fresh parsley and basil.
