These Key Lime Bars from Delish.com are just the right amount of tangy and sweet.

Key Lime Bars

Cooking spray,

graham crackers, crushed

butter,

c. sugar

cream cheese, softened to room temperature

sweetened condensed milk

c. lime juice

kosher salt

c. Cool Whip

Instead of lime juice (from squeezing the juice from the lime), I used bottled key lime juice.
This recipe is amazing! I love making these, and they don't last too long after that.

These boozy bars from Delish.com are lemon bar's sassy cousin.

Margarita Bars

c. Crushed Pretzels

c. unsalted butter, melted

sugar

eggs

tbsp. tequila

c. all-purpose flour

Powdered sugar,

Lime wedges,

Salt,

Preheat oven to 350° and line a 9”-x-9” baking dish with parchment paper.

Make the crust: In a large bowl, mix together crushed pretzels, butter and sugar. Press into your prepared baking dish and bake for 10 minutes. Place on a baking rack to cool while you make your filling.

Make filling: In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar, zest, lime juice, tequila and flour. Pour over crust and bake until the filling is set, 33 to 35 minutes.

Let cool, then slice and dust with powdered sugar. Top with limes wedges dipped in salt for garnish.

Do you need to store these in the refrigerator?

A buttery crust and a slightly tangy lime filling make up these beautiful Lime Bars. The perfect summer dessert!

Lime Bars

all-purpose flour, divided use

salt

Tablespoons unsalted butter, melted ((a stick and a half))

Tablespoons lime zest ((about 3-4 limes))

lime juice

eggs ((room temperature))

green food coloring ((optional))

Preheat the oven to 350F degrees.

Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper or spray with nonstick baking spray. Set aside.

In a bowl (or the bowl of a stand mixer), sift together 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour, 2/3 cups&#32;powdered sugar and 1/2 teaspoon&#32;salt.

Then add 12 Tablespoons&#32;unsalted butter, melted and mix until combined.

Put the crust dough into the lined pan and press into a flat thin layer with the bottom of a measuring cup.

Bake for about 20 minutes, until a light golden color around the edges.

Crust

In a food processor or stand mixer, add in 3 cups&#32;granulated sugar and 3 Tablespoons&#32;lime zest. Mix until the zest is fully incorporated.

Add remaining half cup of flour to the sugar mixture and pulse again.

Add 1 cup&#32;fresh lime juice, 8&#32;large eggs and 6&#32;drops green food coloring, and mix until completely combined.

Pour the filling over the crust and place in oven. Bake for about 30-40 minutes, turning the  pan after 15 minutes. Check for doneness by wiggling the pan. If it doesn’t jiggle in the  middle, it’s done. Do not overbake.
