This is by far the BEST low calorie hot chocolate recipe ever! Made with unsweetened cocoa powder and almond milk, this recipe yields a super creamy, rich and luxurious hot chocolate for just 52 calories!

50 Calorie Hot Chocolate

250 ml unsweetened almond milk

tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

tbsp 0 calorie sweetener

salt (optional)

In a small saucepan, mix together the stevia and cocoa powder. Add in the milk and whisk until well combined.

Set this over medium-high heat on the stove until it has reached a gentle simmer - it will bubble at the edges, about 3-5 minutes. Remember to continue to whisk.

Transfer to your favorite mug add any toppings you would like and enjoy!

* 2 shots espresso or 100 ml brewed coffee
* 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
* 3 tbsp stevia or 0 calorie sweetener
* ¼ tsp peppermint extract
* ¼ tsp vanilla extract
* crushed candy cane (optional)
Low calorie whip cream
* 50 ml really hot milk of choice

Instructions:
1. In a small saucepan, mix together the stevia and cocoa powder. Add in the milk and whisk until well combined. 
2. Set this over medium-high heat on the stove and cook until it has reached a gentle boil - it will bubble at the edges, about 3-5 minutes.
3. Take off the heat and mix in the peppermint extract, vanilla extract and espresso until well combined.
4. Transfer to your favorite mug and top with whip cream and crushed candy cane (optional). Enjoy!

* 250 ml (1 cup) unsweetened almond milk
* 2 shots espresso or 100ml brewed coffee
* 2 tbsp sweetener

* 1 tsp ground cinnamon
* ¼ tsp ground cloves
* ¼ tsp nutmeg
* ¼ tsp ground ginger

Instructions: 
1. In a small saucepan, mix together all of the ingredients. 
2. Set this over medium heat until bubbling, about 5 minutes. 
3. Transfer the latte into your favorite mug, top with some whipped cream and cinnamon and enjoy!
