This Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp from Delish.com couldn't be easier. 

Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp

shrimp

thick-cut bacon,

tbsp. butter, melted

maple syrup

tbsp. chili powder

Very tasty! May add a lil smoked paprika next time, definitely a hit! Didn't use frozen shrimp.

I used thawed shrimp and wrapped raw bacon and then grilled them...came out perfect. thank you!!

This dish came out exceptionally well. So easy to make. We did it with turkey bacon but it came out just as well. Kids and Grownups wanted more and more

i made these as an appetizer for Christmas dinner. The maple butter spread made them super tasty, however, next time I plan to purchase jumbo shrimp and NOT precook the bacon!

Precook the bacon at 400 for 20 minutes on an oven safe cooling rack. Toss the raw shrimp in the maple butter chili powder mix. Carefully wrap the thawed shrimp with the hot (still pliable) bacon and secure with a toothpick. This will ensure perfectly crispy bacon and perfectly cooked shrimp. After allowing to cool for 5 minutes, the bacon will crisp up completely around the shrimp.

These were delicious. I placed the bacon in the prepared pan and baked it for 14 minutes on 425 and let it cool before preparing the shrimp. It probably should have gone a few minutes longer. I also went with a little less than a Tbs of chili powder. I used equal parts of ancho and chipotle powders. There was a nice amount of heat but not too much even for the kids. I broiled them on Lo for 3 minutes. This would make a great party appetizer.

These Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp Are Ridiculously Addictive

This maple bacon cheesecake recipe has an amazing maple flavor with small chunks of savory bacon and the whole thing is topped with a caramel bacon pecan topping.

maple bacon cheesecake

graham crackers

Tbsp sugar

cinnamon

butter

lbs full fat cream cheese (softened)

C sugar

vanilla

maple flavoring

lrg eggs (room temp)

lrg egg yolks (room temp)

bacon

C butter

lbs packed light brown sugar

salt

C chopped pecans

bacon (chopped)

C heavy whipping cream

Preheat the oven to 350

mix all the crust ingredients and toss lightly with fork until well blended.

Press firmly into the bottom of a 9 inch spring form pan.

Bake on the bottom rack until crisp and golden, 10-12 min.

Let cool.

Crust

Reduce oven to 300 and place baking dish full of hot water on the bottom rack to create moisture (leave this in while baking).

Beat cheese and sugar on med until light and fluffy, about 30-60 sec.

Add the vanilla, maple flavoring and maple syrup

Scrape the bowl, beat 45 sec more - make sure it's smooth with no chunks.

Add the eggs and yolks and pulse until they are incorporated and the batter is velvety, about 30 sec - do NOT overbeat.

Pour the filling over crust, sprinkle on chopped bacon and barely blend

bake on the center rack until golden, about 1 hour.

When you open the rack and shift the pan the center 6 inches will jiggle more than the rest, like a loose jello jiggler. This is the trick to learn, you might slightly undercook (not bad) or slightly overcook (okay) the first time as you get used to this style.

Turn the oven off and crack open the door and let the cake cool about 30 mins

Cheesecake

melt the butter and brown sugar and bring to a boil

add the maple syrup and bring to a boil again

add the cream and stir until totally incorporated, add the vanilla, bacon and nuts

pour over the cooled cheesecake and then refrigerate overnight, cheesecake tastes better after a day or two in the fridge.

chopped candied bacon - 2-4 slices
Topping
1/4 C butter
1/4 lbs brown sugar
pinch salt
1/4 C maple syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 C chopped pecans
10 slices bacon chopped
1/4 C cream

Maple Bacon Carrots

These came out delicious.  I cooked 15 minutes rotated carrots and reapplied maple syrup and cooked about 20-25  minutes  till carrot tender and rotating to keep  maple syrup from charring.

Easy and turned out delicious. Had to bake an extra 10 minutes or so because the carrots were thick.

I boiled for 5 mins, then to oven for 30 minutes.  Perfect doneness.   Gotta figure out how to keep the bottom of the bacon from burning.  Assuming simple rotation will do it next time.  
Good dish, nice for something a little different.

After it was finally cooked this tasted pretty good but it was so hard to make! I chose this recipe because it looks so easy and it actually was ridiculously difficult to get the bacon to stay wrapped around the carrots and we finally had to use toothpicks! It also took close to 40 minutes to cook thoroughly and threw off the time I planned to serve dinner and therefore affected other dishes.

Carrots are NOT keto friendly.  Remove this from your list.  You are misleading people.

My family absolutely LOVED these! Even people who don’t like carrots. New Thanksgiving tradition. Thank you

These Maple Bacon Carrots Will Steal The Show

Tender pancakes made with maple syrup have a layer of crispy bacon that adds delicious flavor. They&#039;re easy to make and so tasty for breakfast, brunch or even dinner!

Maple Pancakes with Bacon

regular sliced bacon, (chopped in 1/2 inch pieces)

all purpose flour

sugar

baking powder

baking soda

milk

butter, (plus extra for topping (optional))

maple syrup, (plus extra for drizzling)

maple extract

eggs

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to transfer it to a double layer of paper towels to drain.

Whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt together in a large mixing bowl.

Pour the milk in a medium saucepan and add the butter, maple syrup and maple extract. Heat over medium, just until the butter melts, whisking occasionally. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.

Beat the eggs in a medium bowl with a whisk. Slowly add the milk mixture and whisk until combined.

Make a well in the flour mixture. Add the milk mixture and stir just until moistened. (Do not overmix.) Let the batter rest for 5 minutes to develop the leavening action of the baking powder.

Heat an electric griddle to 375 degrees, or heat a skillet or nonstick frying pan over medium heat on the stove. Spray with nonstick cooking spray.

Using a 1/4 cup measure, pour the batter on the hot griddle and spread in a 5-inch circle.

Cook until bubbles form on top and the underside is light brown. Sprinkle about 1 tablespoon of the cooked bacon pieces evenly over the pancake and gently pat in place with your fingertips. Use a spatula to turn the pancake over.

Continue cooking until the bottom of the pancake is lightly browned, 1 to 2 more minutes.

Serve the pancakes warm, and top with additional cooked bacon bits, butter and maple syrup if you like. Makes 12-14 pancakes.

You&#39;ll love the sweet-savory flavor of Million Dollar Bacon, featuring thick-cut bacon oven baked with maple syrup, brown sugar and spices. This is a copycat recipe of the bacon made famous at First Watch restaurant.

Million Dollar Bacon

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper and place an oven-safe baking rack on top.

In a shallow dish, combine the brown sugar, maple syrup, water, black pepper, cinnamon and cayenne pepper. Whisk together until sugar dissolves.

Dip each slice of bacon in the glaze, coating it well, and lay on the baking rack.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Rotate the pan in the oven and continue cooking until the bacon is as brown and crispy as you like it. Exact cooking time will depend on the thickness of bacon. In our oven, total cooking time was about 30 minutes.

Remove the pan from the oven and let the bacon cool on the rack for 15 minutes. Blot excess grease with paper towels and serve.

Candied Bacon Lollipops

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking pan with foil topped with a piece of parchment paper. In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, maple syrup and black pepper to make the glaze and set aside.

Cut the thick bacon in pieces that are about 2 1/2 to 3 inches long.

Skewer each piece of bacon several times with a toothpick.

Arrange the skewered bacon pieces on the prepared baking sheet.

Place in the oven and cook until bacon is just starting to brown and has rendered some fat.

Blot with paper towels to absorb excess grease. Brush the bacon pieces generously with the glaze.

Return to the oven and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from oven, turn bacon pieces over, blot with paper towels and brush with the remaining glaze. Return to the oven and cook until bacon is golden brown and crispy.

Cool for several minutes. Carefully remove toothpicks and replace with wooden skewers. Blot any excess grease. Serve and enjoy!
