Maple and Horseradish  Chicken Wings

(250 ml) maple syrup

(60 ml) white wine vinegar

(60 ml) soy sauce

(60 ml) prepared horseradish

Dijon mustard

garlic, chopped

star anise

olive oil

In a saucepan, combine all the ingredients except the chicken. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer until syrupy. Let cool.

Cut each chicken wing through the joints into three pieces. Set aside the two large pieces and discard the wing tips.

In a large Pyrex dish or sealable plastic bag, add the chicken and the marinade. Cover the dish or seal the bag. Refrigerate for 8 to 24 hours.

Preheat the grill, setting the burners to high. 
Oil the grate.

Reduce the heat to low. Drain the wings and discard the marinade. Season with salt and pepper.

Place the wings on the grill and cook, turning 
regularly, for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the meat pulls easily from the bone.

Excellente recette pour tous les âges! Je n'avais pas de raifort et anis donc j'ai ajouter 2 c thé de Sambal Oelek pour un peu épicé (moins pour enfants). S'il fait trop froid, je les fait au four 400F 20 min de chaque côté. Ah et nous avons besoin de 50% plus de cette succulente sauce :O)

J'aimerais savoir si nous pouvons les faire au four. Si oui,quelle température et combien de temps suggérez-vous?

Mes invités se sont léchés les doigts ! Je la refait à coup sûr!


Les petit bouts peuve se garder pour faire un bon bouillon!!

Maple-Glazed Pork Tenderloins

pork tenderloins,

Flour

butter

tbsp (15 ml) vegetable oil

shallots, chopped

(125 ml) maple syrup

With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

Dust the tenderloins with flour. In an ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat, brown the pork in the butter and oil. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside on a plate.

In the same skillet, soften the shallots. Add the maple syrup and mustard. Simmer for 1 minute, until thickened. Return the pork to the skillet and coat with the sauce.

Bake for 16 to 17 minutes for medium rare.

Remove from the oven and cover with foil. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh thyme.

Cette recette est un classique chez nous. Tout le monde aime ça. Simple, rapide et très bon.

Cette recette est rendue un incontournable dans notre famille! Je recommande de doubler la sauce (elle est tellement délicieuse!).

Délicieux! J’ai ajouté un peu de vin blanc pour déglacer avant d’enfourner et de la crème à la sortie du four. Le temps de cuisson est plus long même pour une cuisson rosée.

J’ai fait un seul gros filet de porc avec la même quantité de sauce et c’était parfait! J’ai mit au four environ 25 min à 350 par contre. Délicieux et très facile à faire. Bon repas de semaine servi avec patate pilée crème ciboulette miam!

J’ai déjà évalué cette délicieuse recette . J’écris pour dire qu’à l’avenir, je la ferai à l’avance. J’ai servi des restants le lendemain en refaisaient de la sauce et j’y ai mis des tranches de porc très minces rosées 2 à 3 minutes dans la sauce à feu super doux. Merci à toute l’équipe pour une autre super recette. Serait-il possible de faire une chronique sur l’art de réchauffer un mets fait d’avance , c’est tellement utile.

Vraiment très bon.  Pour 2 filets, je doublerai la sauce dorénavant.
