One Pan Meatball Casserole is an easy, dump it and forget, family favorites.  I&#x27;ve included options for making it in the slow cooker or as a freezer meal!

One Pan Meatball Casserole

ziti pasta

marinara sauce

milk

water

garlic powder

onion powder

oregano

salt

Meatballs (, fully cooked, thawed)

mozzarella ((or Italian blend cheese))

Parmesan cheese and fresh chopped herbs (such as basil

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

In a 9x13 inch baking dish stir together uncooked pasta, marinara sauce, water, milk, spices and meatballs.

Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 40 minutes.

Uncover; stir. Check the pasta for doneness. We want it to be al dente (firm, but almost perfectly cooked). If it’s still too hard, cover the dish and return to the oven for a few minutes.

Sprinkle mozzarella over the top and bake uncovered for 5-10 more minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Allow to cool for at least 15 minutes before serving, to allow the sauce to thicken up.

Swedish Meatball Noodle Bake

Worcestershire sauce

Fresh parsley, chopped,

Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray. Set aside.

In a large bowl, mix together the beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, nutmeg, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Scoop mixture out in 1 1/2 tablespoons and roll into balls.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add meat balls and brown on all sides. (They'll finish cooking in the oven.) Remove to a plate and set aside.

While meatballs cook, boil a large pot of salted water and cook noodles 2 minutes less than package calls for.

To same skillet that the meatballs were seared in, add broth, heavy cream, and Worcestershire sauce, scraping up any stuck-on bits on the bottom.

Let simmer until slightly thicker, about 10 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper and remove from heat.

Add pasta to baking dish, and nestle meatballs into noodles. Pour sauce evenly over the top and top with cheese.

Bake until cheese is melted and bubbly, about 20 minutes. Let sit 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

This Bubble Up Swedish Meatball Casserole combines meatballs and savory gravy with fluffy biscuits for a tasty dinner!

Bubble Up Swedish Meatball Casserole

turkey breast (ground chicken breast would work too)

Parmesan cheese

bread crumbs

parsley flakes

skim milk

olive oil (divided)

onion

oz sliced white mushrooms

(10.75 oz) can of 98% fat free condensed Cream of Mushroom soup

7.5 oz can of refrigerated biscuit dough

Mozzarella cheese

Pre-heat the oven to 350. Lightly mist a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey breast with the Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, parsley, garlic powder, egg, egg white and milk and stir together (or mush with your hands) until mixed. Roll the mixture into about 60 meatballs (roughly 1” diameter).

Heat a tablespoon (or 1 ½ teaspoons if you’re cooking the meatballs in 2 batches) of the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place the rolled meatballs into the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, until the meatballs are browned on all sides and cooked through. Remove the meatballs to your prepared casserole dish.

Place the remaining teaspoon of oil in the same skillet and bring to medium heat. Add the diced onion and the sliced mushrooms and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes until the onions are softened and translucent and the mushrooms are softened. Add these vegetables to the meatballs in the casserole dish.

Mix the cream of mushroom soup and the beef gravy together in a mixing bowl and pour over the top of the ingredients in the casserole dish. Use a spoon to mix everything together. Add the pieces of biscuit dough and stir to coat. Bake for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle the shredded Mozzarella over the top of the casserole. Bake for an additional 15 minutes until hot and bubbly.
