This 3-ingredient sour recipe is by far the best Midori Sour version I've tried to date. The Midori melon liqueur has enough sweetness to balance the acidic lime juice and the egg whites bring a nice texture to this melon flavoured cocktail.

Midori Sour Cocktail Recipe

milliliters Midori Melon Liqueur (2 oz)

milliliters Fresh Lime Juice (1 oz)

¾ Egg White

A subtle blend of Midori melon liqueur with Cointreau and lemon juice, the Japanese Slipper mixes sweet and tart flavours for a perfect before-dinner drink.

Japanese Slipper

Triple Sec

milliliters Midori

Lemon

Shake

Add all the ingredients together in a cocktail shaker and shake until the outside of the shaker becomes slightly frosted.

Strain

Garnish

Garnish with a maraschino cherry in the middle of the cocktail glass and serve.

fifth Midori melon liqueur

Water

Warm the bottle of Midori so that it is hot to the touch, by first loosening the cap half way, then set the entire bottle in a saucepan half full of water on high heat. Meanwhile, bring 1 cup of water to a rolling boil then stir in the Jello and Gelatin until dissolved. Stir in hot Midori. Pour mixture into a flat bottom pan and slice into cubes when cooled, or place in small cups.

2½ oz Midori

oz Zing Zang Margarita mix

oz Fresh Squeezed lime

Put ice in a cocktail shaker

Add Tequila,  Midori, Zing Zang Margarita mix, and Fresh lime to the shaker

Put ice in a Margarita glass

Pour the cocktail into the Margarita glass

just served the 'Honey Dew Me' for Girls Night with the Hot Dates!  Big hit.  So fun to try something new.  I plan on making them again- but you have so many fun and crazy drinks and apps to try.

Honey dew is such a light and refreshing flavor. It's a perfect accompaniment to midori. I can't wait to try this marvelous margarita.
