A decadent, moist chocolate mug cake, elevated with a swirl of peanut butter and can be made within minutes. It's vegan, so is naturally egg, dairy and lactose-free. However, this particular recipe is low sugar and can also be made low fat as well!

Vegan Chocolate Mug Cake

tsp vanilla extract

stevia

salt

tbsp plant milk

tbsp oil

cocoa powder

tbsp flour

tsp baking powder

choc chips

peanut butter

In a microwave-safe mug or bowl, add the first 6 ingredients and mix well to combine.

Add flour and baking powder and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.

Swirl in peanut butter, and top with chocolate chips.

Microwave for 1.5-2 minutes or until center is cooked through. Be careful not to overcook it though!

Best Cookie Butter Mug Cake - DIY Biscoff & High Protein

½ tsp Flaxseed Meal

Water

Tbsp Cookie Butter

Tbsp Oat Flour (15 grams)

Tbsp Almond Flour (10 grams)

1½ Tbsp Vanilla Protein Powder (or sweetener)

¼ tsp Baking Powder

2½ Tbsp Almond Milk (Unsweetened)

Combine water and flaxseed meal in a small bowl and let rest 5 mins.

Place cookie butter in a bowl and microwave for about 5 seconds to soften.

Add in oat flour, almond flour, vanilla protein powder, baking powder, milk and flax-egg mixture. Stir to form a smooth batter.

Lightly grease a 1 cup (8 oz) ramekin or mug.

Pour batter into the mug/ramekin.

Microwave on high for 1 minute; Top should be set and dry to touch. Microwave additional time at 5 second intervals if needed.

Let cool about 2 minutes, top with more cookie butter and serve!
