Chocolate Churro Dip

refrigerated biscuit dough

tbsp. unsalted butter, melted

c. cinnamon-sugar

c. Nutella (chocolate-hazelnut spread)

Made this last night for my son (6) and my two younger sisters (15 and 13). THEY LOVED IT!! They are already asking when I will make it again.

Chocolate Churro Dip Is The Cozy Dessert Dip Of Your Dreams!

These hazelnut balls are a healthier, homemade alternative to Ferrero Rocher chocolates and they are the absolute best. They are so easy to make, you only need 4 ingredients and there is no extra sugar added!

4-Ingredient Healthy Ferrero Balls

hazelnuts

Medjool dates

tsp salt

tbsp cacao powder

Stevia / sweetener (optional)

hazelnut cocoa butter (Nutella or homemade)

Chill some Nutella in the freezer for about 30 mins so it solidifies a little.

Add 1/2 of the hazelnuts, all of the Medjool dates, salt and cacao powder into a food processor. Process it until its mixed well

Add the rest of the hazelnuts and give it a quick blitz. Make sure to not over-process it. You want your remaining hazelnuts to stay pretty coarse so there's a good crunch to it.

Pop the mixture into the fridge for about 20 mins to chill.

To assemble the balls, take a palm-sized amount of your date mixture, roll it up into a ball then press down in the center until you create a little crater. Fill the crater up 3/4 of the way with your chilled Nutella, then press the sides back together to seal it up.

Give it another little roll to turn it back into the shape of a ball, repeat with the rest of your mixture and you're done!

Whilst I still don’t recommend eating all of this in one sitting, we have come up with a Homemade Healthier Nutella, which is just as delicious.

Homemade Healthier Nutella

200 g Hazelnuts ((you could use any nuts you have))

tsp Vanilla extract

Cocoa powder

Milk

Pitted dates

Water

tbsp Maple syrup

Put the hazelnuts in a food processor and process on the highest speed for 10-15 minutes, stopping to scrape down the sides of the bowl at regular intervals, until you have a smooth nut butter.

Meanwhile, place the dates in a bowl with the boiling water and leave to soak for 10 minutes.

Add the dates and water, along with the remaining ingredients to the food processor with the hazelnut butter. Process the mixture on high until it is smooth. Transfer to a jar and store for up to 1 week in the fridge.

A smooth and creamy homemade Sugar-free Nutella made with raw cacao powder and sweetened with stevia. With the natural oils of roasted hazelnuts and no added oil or sugar, this healthy Nutella makes the perfect low carb spread. Vegan too!

Healthy Homemade Sugar-free Nutella (Low-Carb & Vegan)

Hazelnuts (270 grams)

Tbsp Cacao Powder

¾ tsp Vanilla Extract

Stevia Sweetener (1 Tbsp sugar worth (Use your brand's Conversion Chart))

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Place hazelnuts on a large baking sheet and spread into a single layer.

Bake for about 10 minutes, shaking half way.

Wrap nuts in paper towels and rub vigorously to remove as many lose skins as possible - this makes it more creamy.

Let cool slightly until warm, 5-7 minutes.

Transfer to a food processor or high-speed blender and process until smooth and creamy, scraping down sides if necessary. Takes about 3-4 minutes

If mixture gets too hot, stop processing and allow to cool for a bit before continuing.

Add cacao powder, vanilla and stevia sweetener, and process again until combined.

This is a GREAT Nutella recipe! This recipe allowed me to taste the real-ness of the ingredients, without the guilt!
