Orange Sherbet

orange soda

oz sweetened condensed milk

Combine the orange soda and sweetened condensed milk in a large bowl. Stir until milk is well incorporated.

If you're using an ice cream maker, pour mixture into it now and begin churning. The air bubbles in the soda will be stirred out and the liquid will condense. Churn for about 1 hour, then once it's partially frozen, transfer to a bread pan and freeze 6-8 hours, until solid. Enjoy!

If you're not using an ice cream maker, transfer mixture to a bread pan and freeze. After 1 hour, stir the mixture and place back in freezer. Repeat process every 2 hours, stirring at least twice before enjoying.

This orange creamsicle ice cream made with the Ninja Creami combines the perfect tang of orange with the sweetness of vanilla for a delicious treat! By using orange and vanilla extract, this flavor is extremely easy to make. Note: 1 serving = 1 pint

Ninja Creami Orange Creamsicle Ice Cream

Cream Cheese

Orange Extract

Vanilla Extract

Sugar

Heavy Cream

Milk

Place 1 tbsp cream cheese in a medium bowl and microwave for 5-10 seconds. If the cream cheese was in the fridge, these 5-10 seconds in the microwave will help soften it up to mix well with the other ingredients.

Combine cream cheese with 1 tsp orange extract, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, and 1/3 cup granulated sugar. Whisk until the ingredients are mixed together.

Slowly whisk in 1 cup whole milk and 3/4 cup heavy cream.

Whisk in a few drops of yellow food coloring and a few drops of red food coloring until the mixture is the desired color.

Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container, ensuring it does not go over the max fill line.

Freeze the pint for 24 hours, making sure it is placed on a flat surface in the freezer.

After 24 hours, remove the pint from the freezer, and plug in your Ninja Creami machine! Time for the magic.
Remove the lid from the pint and grab the Ninja Creami outer bowl. Place the pint securely into the outer bowl and cover with the lid. Once the lid is on, place the outer bowl into the machine, twisting to the right until it locks into place. Press the "Ice Cream" button and (try to) wait patiently for the creamy treat coming your way.

Once the process is finished, press and hold the button on the left side of the Creami to twist the bowl to the left and remove it from the machine. Twist the lid off of the outer bowl and remove the pint.

Now your orange creamsicle ice cream is ready to enjoy!

Orange Sherbet Jello Salad

Orange Jell-O

water

mandarin oranges ((drain, and save the juice))

(2 cups) orange sherbet, (softened)

In a medium bowl, stir hot water into the Jell-O powdered gelatin until it is completely dissolved. Add the mandarin orange juice and the softened sherbet and continue to mix until the sherbet is melted.

Spray a jello mold (or an 8x8-inch glass pan) with nonstick spray. Pour the Jell-O mixture into the mold and gently scatter the orange slices into the mixture.

Refrigerate for several hours (or overnight) until well set. Carefully turn out the chilled jello mold onto a decorative plate (see tips below).  Or if you used a square dish, you can just put it out for scooping and serving.  Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
